I was a late joiner to BD (started watching in maybe 2021?) so I’ve been slowly watching the early seasons. I’m up to BD6 - think it’s Kate’s second or maybe third season. It’s so good. Chandler the awful bosun, Rhylee the crazy deck hand, Caroline the absolute drama queen. Kate and Josiah’s friendship is a great watch and the chef is incredible but also definitely not cut out for being a chef on a yacht.

Feels like it took the franchise quite a few seasons to find their feet but we finally made it!

I must admit, I’m finding this season quite trying. All the drama with the crew all shagging each other is tedious AF.

After all of the Solene nonsense of the last series I quite enjoyed BD Mediterranean today and don't get the hatred for Captain Sandy. I was also happy to see that Aleisha is engaged despite her boyfriend pooh photos and think that her shorter hair really suits her.

Tzarina was a twat to her a lot last season. But I suppose when it’s a man saying a lot of the same things- it comes across more aggressive.

She has a really deluded view of her capabilities and what she should be doing. Someone needs to guide her to do better or give it all up as it’s not for her.

She talks about her passion for cooking , but when pulled it the same narrative of ‘I’m not a chef’ no one said you were

Biggest issue is the sous chef title, she’s not at that level. Shes a kitchen hand or prep cook.

The problem is when Ben tries to guide her or give advice she starts crying.
Has anyone watched the After Show? She's on there saying he's criticising her every move and he isn't.

The deck crew are almost entirely incompetent, and there’s something scary about how easily Christian recalled that story of him knocking a guy out as if it’s not a big deal.

I knew someone who was killed by a single punch. It makes me sick seeing him brag about it.

I agree with nearly all of this, and yes he’s a sleazy bastard but I still am loving Ben and think there are still enough moments of charm coming from him to keep me loving him!

Yea I get it. I do still love him but he’s so much sharper this time, very jaded. Plus the sulking (specifically the tip meeting he was late for!) from a man in his forties just gives me the ick.
