Just caught up last night - what the hell was that last episode?! Like a shit episode of Love Island with everyone trying to one-up each other by pulling as many people as possible for maximum screen time. Very cringe. Feels like the show is so set up and curated now.

So the trailer has dropped for the next series … which is going to be Med … Aesha chief , Nathan bosun , and Joe as a returning deckhand . Also looks like Hannah Ferrier might be back but as a guest ?

am I mad or did we just have a season of Med before Down Under ? Isn’t it main series’ turn ? Or are we getting extra med because there’s no Sailing Yacht ?

The show is turning into a parody of itself. The worst line up and I bet they’ll do the completely unnecessary thing that Down Under are currently doing and film all the guests at their houses etc. first.

I too will probably still watch it as I love the trash, but will be angry about it at the same time!

I didn’t like Bri’s reaction to Harry dancing with Alesia either - felt like she was cruel to him when she knew there was nothing in it. Lara getting involved too

The only reason I think Jason wont do anything him is cause they wont be able to get another chef intime for the charter and they need the chef, "sous" chef assistant Ellie wouldn'tbe able to cop.

But agree Jason needs to hold him to account.

Not a fan of Jason this season. It feels like the fame has got to his head.

I loved Jason on previous seasons but he seems to have lost his edge.
He was also such a fair captain, but enforced the rules when needed. This season he's based repercussions on who the person involved was, rather than what they have actually done.

Ben is so clearly a sexist, classist snob and it's honestly embarrassing. Acting like a stroppy teenager when he's nearly 50.

Jenna's behaviour was poor, but she was a drunk 22 year old. The way Ben speaks to and about people is awful, allowing and encouraging his galley hand to bitch about Daisy.

He’s such a twat about his upbringing as well, crying on about how he doesn’t want to be judged on his class/privilege when he goes around judging people and mistreating them to that end constantly. He’s like a bloke continually accusing someone of cheating, they’re nearly always the cheat themselves.

Behaving the way she was in the hot tub and then acting all hard done by that Aesha was pointing out her obvious behaviour (that she admits to, constantly saying she wants to be the main character etc.) was so irritating to watch.

Nathan should have been back on the boat long before the other boys started working. I don’t like Joe but he seems to be working harder than Nathan and probably should be bosun.

Nathan told that dude several times to go inside so not sure what his problem is other than he’s an angry, angry man. He’s not a good looking guy and it‘s no wonder he’s had to pay for a girlfriend.

Joy’s accent is so sexy! I want her to read me bedtime stories.

I‘m watching BD Sailing Yacht at the moment and it blows my mind that every time the boat heels over, the crew all behave as though it’s never happened before. Also, why don’t they secure bottles, plates etc?

Eddy now giving me incel vibes. And IMO Jenna shouldn’t have been demoted - so many male crew have done much worse in previous seasons and not faced this level of punishment. A bollocking? Yes. But being publicly stripped of responsibility is really extreme. They were all very, very drunk. Seems a tad sexist.

Jenna should not have been demoted for a first indiscretion on a crew night, it's not a reflection on her work.
Her behaviour with Eddy and Ben has been slightly off, but Eddy disame to her early doors and expected forgiveness. He's acting like she's cheated on a 10 year marriage. She'd ended it, and despite saying she missed him, she hadn't give him any indication she wanted to start something with him.
He went looking for her after he messaged asking for a hug and she didn't respond.
His behaviour is far worse than hers tbf, because it's quite controlling.

I think they expected them to be terrible guests so rushed through their charter condensing it into one episode. Unfair really when the rho had like 3 episodes! All felt very unfinished, and the loose ends and little chats before it finished just didn't happen.

That stupid stew pretending to be a lesbian to ensure she gets maximum screen time. Urgh.

Frasier doesn't seem to be managing his team very well either.

If Solene says 'oh la la' again I will scream and scream until I'm sick.

It’s really made my day that the other two deckies are pretty hot and also so much taller than Joe just as he deserves

The editors made my day with that one shot of him standing in between them looking like a little boy.
