Hey, BBC3, here you go as far as 'influencers' go: We post because the people pretend they're being authentic and they're full of rit. They advertise things and don't claim them. They act like holding up their phone/camera is the hardest life. And worst of all, they grift money from working people by emotionally manipulating them so they can continue not being a productive member of society. We just see through it, that's all.
That, and we say they're dickheads with tit hair.

Talk of the government banning under 16’s from using SM yet the online safety act doesn’t extend to influencers exploiting their children to fund their lifestyle 🙄
This is the thing in Australia too! A friend (ish) I know there is an influencer, her very young children are still all over her instagram, ads etc. This ban hasn't really done what it set out to imo

These things are always a hit job.

They've already made it pretty clear it will be skewed towards the influencers. Fancy that! Those that have media connections and are in a position of power and influence get to weaponise the media to silence the general public.

The BBC already did one with Sali Hughes, ignoring that she herself was as witchy as the bitchiest tattlers with her tweets to mock Katie Price, X factor contestants, Kylie Minogue etc. The doc was truly Kremlin levels of misinformation and falsehoods.

"They wrote about my sex life!!! *clutches pearls*" when people only spoke of her sex life because she was paid to write articles about it!

The self-righteousness of it all makes me laugh. The tone is 'I was once one of those people until I saw the light and repented of my terrible ways' kinda thing.

I expect the tattler* that speaks to them will have their back to the camera, and their voice distorted. Camera pans slowly over them, with suitable haunting music playing, to reveal them wearing sackcloth and ashes. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

*Note the use of the singular 😉

I expect the 'Tattler' will be an unpaid work experience intern because no real Tattlers took them up on their offer.

Dear BBC3 and your inquisitive viewers.

You wish to understand why people like me post on Tattle, remain on Tattle and enjoy Tattle. It's very easy to explain. See @MeghanSnarkle's previous explanation.

But let me expand. This is a forum for like minded people, hundreds of us, to share opinions, discuss every day events, query what is reported by the media, but most of all I enjoy the laughs.

I joined during Covid and was made welcome. During that strange time it was uplifting to read comments on Tattle and I made Internet "friends". Then I found the Harry & Meghan thread and literally couldn't believe what i was reading, although it does make sense to me now; now that other forums post the same.

Tattle has threads to discuss anything, to support each other, and have fun. We may not always agree with each other, but that's life and gives us food for thought.

I would like to know why Tattle is targeted. Why not talk to Quora, Reddit, etc or some of many other forums. I've read and/or posted on numerous forums for over 25 years and can honestly say that Tattle is the best, no nonsense, well moderated, forum I've come across.

I was commenting on that post on Reddit. He wasn’t subtle. Assuming it’s even real and not someone fishing for info.

Why only target Tattle? What about Reddit, Tumblr etc
I know. Reddit is like a pool full of piranhas (not slagging it though, I quite like a good read) but I can't see how this site can possibly be worse.

I noticed they have finally shared it on their Facebook and Instagram page but judging by the engagement on both posts I don't think anybody is interested and tbh I also think many people are very skeptical about the whole thing as they are unsure whether it's fake or it's real.

Well their agenda was so obvious. I think there might be an interesting programme there in concept, but clearly their agenda is ‘tattle is basically 4chan’ so they can duck right off.

Exactly their agenda was so obvious and it has backfired on them because nobody who is on Tattle is going to speak to them.

After all the threats last year of exposing users and naming and shaming and reporting to the police (as nonsense as it all was), did they think Tattlers would be climbing over each other to take part? 🤷‍♂️

Exactly I imagine they would have seen what happened last year and have thought well Tattlers will now be willing to share their experiences on Tattle when this is not the case at all as nobody will want to take part and as a result they won't be able to make a TV documentary about Tattle because nobody will have spoken to them.

I think it may have something to do with the assumption of the gender of the membership 🙄

They think all of us on here are like the influencers and would welcome the attention, but we don't, if we did we would just comment directly on whoever's social media.

Jesus Christ is there not more pressing things to report on right now than people who like to gossip about publicly available information that people publish *about themselves* or people who are here to say they want to bag Max Branning?!

Everyone reading this right now who is on the EastEnders thread knows exactly who loves Max on there

Didn’t that BBC3 already try and track down tattlelife “Helen” and knock on a door in North London?
I think that was someone from love island and she went on that it's ironic that they're not allowed to film them doorstopping tattle.

She clearly doesn't understand what ironic is. Unless I've missed it no one from tattle has ever recorded themselves doorstepping an influencer and sharing it on here. People only ever talk about homes because these influencers literally invite the internet into them on a daily basis as their business.

As far as I'm aware one has ever posted about ringing the doorbell of an influencer. If they did what these TV stations think is fine to do then they'd be banned instantly on tattle. It really annoys the influencers that it isn't anything like 4chan for women, they find the very rare message that oversteps the mark or totally lie about what was posted.

Their hypocrisy has no bounds.
