I’d love to know who has the time or the inclination to bother stalking people unless they are madzers anyway and would do it regardless whether they poster on Tattle or Club Penguin! Like Tattle isn’t my full time job. I skim through it like I look at Facebook and Instagram. It’s very funny and makes me snigger but I’m here for minutes, not hours. I’m not spending hours plotting people’s downfalls because I have a life.

The BBC has deleted a lot of negative comments on the youtube video. Including the one they posted and pinned about harassment that received only negative replies due to what the doc did.
Wish I had of taken a screenshot! Using their staff to remove negative comments on a very poor show is not a good use of their money.

I watched the ‘documentary’ last night and I thought it was bizarre and poorly done. I didn’t know of these 2 people nor GK but I found it rather intense to only showcase death related cases.
Re the guy, I do believe the thread should have been shut down when his social media was purely about his illness - as much as I enjoy tattle, good banter, and detective work revealing the commercially deceptive manoeuvre of many influencers, I don’t like the crazy violent and obscure comments some seem to post. Edited or not, the sentiment was there.
Of course a lot of z-list influencers will jump on that wagon - to be honest I’m sure many of them would love to have a thread as it would suggest they’ve made it and they’re now worth talking about!
The woman who lost her teen daughter was astonishingly blaming tattle for her choice of lifestyle and the consequences that may come with it.
I also thought their obsession with the owner of the site was unjustified and there for a bit of sensationalism. The music, the shots by the parents house, all of it was ridiculous.
Imagine trying to hunt down Zuckerberg because someone criticised your Facebook marketplace acct - because let’s not forget they’re all selling something!
Anyway, I thought it was a missed opportunity to highlight the dangers of social media and usage of children for content because tattle or not, there are other sites and always will be, and even without websites people can still TALK.

I did copy a few as I thought they might disappear, so deceitful. You're right though, there were many, many more that seem to have been blitzed
So deceitful. They've blitzed loads of comments that had lots of likes and were rational and fair. There was no reason to delete them. That pinned comment was edited and they originally said harassment, was rightly called out as loaded.
Deleting comments you don't like is a large part of why tattle exists!

I agree with parts of your post but the bowelbro guy was asking for cash donations for cancer treatment while paying to advertise his instagram page and boasting about being a millionaire who just flew first class to a private island. Then threatening tattlers who said this didn't add up along with his changing cancer story. I think there was a valid reason for the thread.

If the thread was as the BBC described and harassing someone with cancer then I agree that it shouldn't have been allowed. But what the BBC presented and the reality of the thread are poles apart.

his might never see the light of day at the rate, it's already been pushed back from Late spring to early autumn and only last month he made a second appeal begging for a tatttler to let him interview them (but not threatening them this time, that seems to have put people off coming forward the last time)

She knows it's his parents house and he doesn't even live in the country. I think GK keeps looking really bad in this. Ann Widdecombe has only just been murdered and SB's parents are elderly and nothing to with tattle. I'm sure they're not at risk but all it would take is one influencer and a crazy fan to turn up on their doorstep spurred on by GK loving doing this. I know from the Dr Jessica Taylor threads lots of her followers are unwell and she keeps blaming tattle for everything, when it's of her own making.
I've looked at GKs posts and she seems OK with slagging off people in the same vein as tattle. Not quite a crazy website.
Also if GK wants a response there has been a lot posted on this thread. She's got a fair bit to respond to if that's what she actually wants.
