It was big news that Cat didn’t go. Then they announced their split.
Yeah but did they disclose the reason? They keep themselves pretty private for the boys ( I think) there must’ve been good reason why they kept away? We may never know? He was living in Ireland due to work commitments , she in UK ! It kinda ended like it started in that people were surprised they were an item.

I don't understand what these people think they can achieve. let's say they shut down tattle. are there not more websites discussing celebs and influencers? do they think they can shut down reddit? can they shut down unflattering comments on every internet article?

When the thread started in Feb in was FullFattv saying it would end up on BBC 3 (see first post on page one). That’s where the title came from.
I know that, been reading since post one. Just making the point re. yet another anti-tattle failure!

GK should hang her head in shame. No surprise for Dr Jess Taylor as she's been weaponising a child death from the moment it happened.

personally i moved to tattle because a gossip forum called pretty weird liars was shut down and GG website was hard for me to navigate back in 2021, if tattle were to shut down i’d probably move to a different site. i also had a gap where i wasn’t active on tattle and thats because i was active in a twitter/tumblr snark community for a group of american influencers and then ended up in a discord server.

shutting tattle down wont stop forums and criticism it will just spread it out further and in some cases it ends up on social media pages where the people discussed and their fans will be able to find it accidentally instead and get more upset. i’d argue promoting tattle in the wider press is just bringing in more potential users

What they want is a system that is being slowly floated by governments around the world where everyone has to submit ID at device level and online so there is no anonymity. Of course if a country ends up with an authoritarian government that means any dissenting voices on the internet will be easy to track down and disappear, but that's ok because at least in their heads it will stop people saying 'I think Vicky Pattison is a twit'.

It won't though, because as already noted people say really heinous tit on their public facebook profiles. Influencers think all dissenting voices need to be punished. Jack Monroe in her pomp had an army of flying monkeys she would use to dogpile anyone who even mildly disagreed with her, harassing them online and in real life for such observations as 'your maths on this is wrong.' That was ok though because it wasn't Tattle.

Of course it is. Certainly bringing more eyes to it in any case. And if any of these ones with their 'documentaries' and whatever else took the time to actually read a few threads, it would be most educational for them. No medical records leaked, no addresses published, basically none of the stuff that they claim to have happened, actually did happen.
None of it.

Are none of these “influencers” in their local area facebook group? The arguing and nasty comments I’ve seen on posts is wayyyy worse than tattle, people full on scrapping in the comments on posts about moaning about parents parking around schools, dog poo, new houses, etc. 😂🫣🫣

I’m sorry if that was mentioned but I could not believe it when she was at his parents house, and said my name is Grace and his mum asked for ID and she said - it’s GK Barry. The arrogance! To be fair she did say she did it because she was panicking but what a cringe moment

The only difference between Reddit and Tattle is that Reddit a) has more men and b) has porn (can’t have one without the other i guess)

And subreddits for men who are into barely legal teens and any other male sexual fetish you can imagine

But let's get onto to the ICO and MPs have tattle taken down because that's the one women are using to talk about celebrities and TV shows and social media influencers

I never read it! Not since the 🐹 day’s 😂
I wasn’t sure at first but then I realised you really didn’t know, then I felt bad when you were serious! There’s pages and pages going “but why didn’t she go to the funeral?”

Ben doesn't agree with Cat and GK that ID should be needed to sign up for any account, but leaves it at a grimace rather than saying anything

Gossip and safeguarding concerns are what I most see being put in here. IF people come and read about themselves it's then deemed bullying 🙄

How about the MPs make it so children can't be profitable online? why doesn't loose woman/this morning comment/investigate people like Paris Fury who has her 9 year old topless on her account? But apparently it can't be taken down bc parental consent is enough to allow it stay up? How is that acceptable?

Media is quick to blame people on tattle for bullying but completely ignore all the safeguarding concerns they are commenting on.
