BBC3 tattle documentary by fullfattv

Forums have been around way longer than social media. The BBC had the opportunity to do a fair assessment and look at the dark side of influencing. People’s issue with tattle over other forums is receipts. Lots of people ended up here after an influencer made outlandish claims so we came to check it out. As a result this place probably has more critical thinkers than lots of other forums.

They commissioned it, they paid Full large TV to make it
I have experience of production companies almost exactly like Full large TV.

The founders/owners take the lion's share of the commission payment and make the programme with a small, usually junior, staff.

So it's no surprise that this seems to have been poorly researched and badly produced.

I think it seemed like a good idea last year with all the sensational articles where influencers went wild with the most outlandish claims.

Once you actually look into it you realise all the loudmouths shouting off about tattle were either lying or hugely misrepresenting. But they'd already got it commissioned.

Then all you have left is a gossip forum that's very worst content isn't really that bad in the grand scheme of user generated content.

Subtitles not available does show that even with what they were left with it still had to be cut last minute.
I wonder if there was more about the Sands, or if they were interviewed? And obviously that had to be cut.
And looks like any reference to Jessica Taylor was cut too.
Even though she'd been working on it 'for months' 🤭

I strongly suspect this is something to do with “Dr” Jess Taylor and her mysteriously vanishing books.

She claims to have been working on this documentary for months, and yet there’s no sight of her nor mention in the credits. If she was in it, it was almost certainly cut to exclude her due to either pending legal action against her which has delayed the launch of her book (which she refutes), or the producers read her thread and realised that she doesn’t actually help their argument because she’s an atrocious liar, charlatan, grifter, and everything Tattle stands against.

I honestly thought I was watching a new This is spinal tap mockumentary !

GK giving her cheeky little quips to camera, likening herself to a dog IN heat ... have a giggle on that lads and lasses then suddenly with whiplash speed serious face, hard hitting bit then whoosh back to oiy oiy I'm just about to do a little bit of cheeky stalking on Seb, naughty girl wink to camera

It was like watching Carry on panorama with a presenter doing a tongue in cheek quirky Claudia Winkle impression !

Is there a part 2 of this spoof ?
Hopefully it's going to be turned into a series as I really miss This country .

Yeah that was me :) it says I was new to tattle but I have been coming on here since 2019 when I was at uni… through boredom. I am quite disappointed that they didn’t get our side across but then again I don’t know what I expected
I hope GK was pleasant to you as least!

The BBC have edited their pinned comment, it was loaded and talking of harassment which considering their behaviour was ironic!

That’s the worst part of the programme to me, and the false allegations these people level at Tattle. A lovely young woman who could have been anything she wanted to be has taken her own life, and these ghouls including her own mother chose not to process that grief, but instead turn into ammunition against tattle, or try and use it for their own careers as ‘influencers’
And these people don’t deserve to be called out? Despicable.

I shouldn't have trusted AI. It gave the wrong Princess so I asked for them to delete. I was thinking that it was quick for them to have the SCR online. There will be a SCR on it though in due time and I think it will be very revealing.

Anyway they presented a complex and tragic case as if it was all Tattle's fault when she died.

I posted that this morning interview with that GK Barry today on the celeb gossip thread. I didn't know who she was, just another grifter but I can't believe they get away with this rit time after time.

Yeah this Alfie pitched an idea, got a commission, got GK on board, Dr Jess etc and then it was all downhill with cuts, legal issues, not really any evidence etc.
BBC paid for it so they wanted something to put out to show for it, this was all they had and it’s still going to cause massive issues.
We all need to get on our burner emails to ducking well complain!

Anyone seen the GKbarry doc with Sophie in it? Just seen that dr Jess Taylor’s post about tattle and the photos of the tattle comments!
where are they getting these from? Because most of the comments were concern for the girls, why are they pushing the narrative tattle is to blame when Sophie had them girls on tv from young pranced around on boats with drunks ? And them on social media for people to make comments. Even now her daughters insta is being advertised as a mum I would protect my daughter from social media and not have her present.

I'm sure the Louis Theroux Katie Price Documentary will be much more entertaining.

With Louis documenting the Mansosphere and KP, maybe he'll move into influencers next. I'd love to see him take on Patreon, MLM scams etc.

Looking at iPlayer today and you'd have to dig to watch this as it's nowhere near the front page (for me at least!), seems like the BBC have already buried it!

Also, when GK reads the Zero Tolerance statement from Tattle she immediately reads it incorrectly 'we allow' not 'we have', did they not think to do another take :ROFLMAO:
I had to use the search bar to find it, and then started watching it and discovered its not even subtitled!

It seems odd that they haven't even subtitled the documentary. Almost like it was a rush job and very last minute.

“Dr” Jess Taylor’s audiobook is out today, with the hardback to follow. It details how gangs of online stalkers:

• Obsess over their targets
• Muster up public smear campaigns
• Go through their target’s Internet posts looking for clues to find their location
• Go through historic house sales in the area to pinpoint their address, even if it’s likely they don’t live there anymore
• Travel miles with accomplices just to go to their target’s old house to quiz the neighbours
• Determine a new possible residence for their target and lurk outside with a camera
• Approach the innocent relatives of their target
• Hand deliver envelopes with threatening intent

…Wait, no! I’m getting muddled between Jess’s book premise and GK’s documentary. Duh! 🤦‍♀️
