That ‘Kids in the car’ segment can be dangerous as well as intensely irritating. A couple of times when I’ve been in the car driving home, the horn toots on the radio and I’ve automatically looked around to see who’s beeping at me.
Yes!! Surprised they didn't think of that.
I guess it’s prime time for kids in the car on breakfast with school runs etc. I’ll probs leave my desk and go downstairs to make a coffee at that point 
Alex and Ellie aren’t suited for radio IMO. I normally switch over to Absolute when it gets to 4 anyway.

There's got to be some proper DJs who can do Drive time. Alex Jones isn't one and if you're a comedian you're not a DJ. Mark Goodier is a safe pair of hands so why not just give it to him? He's great.

Do we think that they don’t want to give it to OJ or Spoony then? Or maybe he doesn’t want it until after summer? I wouldn’t want Trevor Nelson for it. I can’t stand Alex Jones on the radio, she’s so awkward.
I do wish they'd get rid of Sally Traffic. I find her tone really rude and condescending.
I hope we end up with an actual radio presenter (OJ, Spoony or Shaun would be my picks) for drive time rather than a bother bloody tv presenter

I can't take to OJ. Already got Absolute or Hits radio lined up if it's him, Shaun! They're both boring and have awful dull voices
I'd happily take Mark or Gary. I think they'd make it their own if they got the permanent slot.

I used to quite like her but she's getting ruder amd more full of her self as each week passes!
I think some of the presenters take advantage of drawing Sally into conversations to pad out content.
Half of them aren't DJs and can't speak about music and artists because they know sod all.
Instead they witter on trying to be hilarious and Sally has to respond whether she wants to or not.
I was thinking about this yesterday - I think it’s to keep the focus on Sara’s new show, and tbh why won’t confirm until she starts. They’ve also got the massive push on Radio 2 in the Park rn (I don’t know if you’d noticed, they haven’t said much about it
) so their PR dept probably want to space things out a little.Hmmm I don’t know…I think they are struggling to fill the gap and have been trying out a few options to see how they land.
