If it turns out the only way for the Mum to show her love/concern for her son was via this route is pretty unfortunate and hopefully not a broader reflection of parental relations in our country.

Not very bright....or a desperate parent worried about a kid with an addiction?

If you read their article they say they ran the story based on interviews with and sworn statements from the parents. Doesn't sound like concrete evidence to me.
The family/mother did hand over evidence to the BBC but I'm guessing it's not that strong if the police aren't involved yet

Not playing catch up, these threads are on fire! Well done Huw!

Interesting what I've seen mentioned elsewhere, that Joris Bonson was supposed to hand his phone over to the police today. What's that he didn't? Oh never mind, we're too busy wondering if Fred Dinenage likes twinks!

If the Sun has evidence surely it’s time to show their cards? Morning headlines maybe?

It's been a long day and this thread moves faster than me at a free bar.... and I Googled tumble on the way home, so thanks for that
Just to get my tired head right, we think its HE but no actual proof, at all?

Personally I think if the Sun had evidence it would be saying it had seen hard evidence. The fact it hasn't is interesting to me.

I honestly don't know what I think at this point.

“You all sit there behind ya little keyboards and be the big men. Some of us are young at heart ya know?… well, I’ve had it. I’ve HAD IT. I’m taking a break.”
Paul? Taking a break from social media? I think there’s a higher chance of Lorraine Kelly being announced as the prolific male BBC nonce than that happening

“You sit there thinking you’re the big billy bollocks being dicks in the universe. It’s the weirdest world in the world njahaha”

Maybe other people were paying the man/ woman for photos, calls, etc all along (of or not) and also the bbc person parents saw pic of said bbc person from screenshot on their phone? and weirdly so upset for their son/ daughter, didn’t go to the police but instead to the bbc…
Something is off about it all, siunds blackmail/ extortion somewhere

I’ve taken my sleeping pill because I’m exhausted today (so much refreshing of tattle my thumbs have worn out) but I’ve told my husband he is to wake me up if HE is presenting the news at 10.

Both. Like I said in that post, loving an addict is horrible and I feel sorry for her. But she clearly expected the BBC could do something that they couldn't, then when they didn't, she assumed it was a neglect of duty on their part. Intelligence isn't a moral value, I'm just saying because people are asking why she behaved like this: I think she misunderstood a lot of things about how the world works. That doesn't mean she doesn't love her kid and was trying to do something to help him.

I find it so odd that people think The Sun would publish such a story without evidence, even if they refuse to publish.

This is the same scummy newspaper who phone hacked milly dowler familys phone whilst she was still missing in order to get exclusive. I don't doubt the lengths they would go to for a story

Additional Murdoch has just had to spend hundreds of millions in America due to settling a defamtion case. I don't think anyone within his businesses would risk such another big lawsuit
