I think this whole thing is just disgusting tbh, I don't know why anyone would want to see it. I don't know if it is just because fewer people are travelling now or just because she always does the same things but I used to find her videos entertaining and even felt jealous of her ability to travel so much but now I just find them boring

She was so disappointed that she was alone in the hostel. Like thank your lucky stars you don't have to share a tiny room with random strangers

Tbh I thought it was pretty normal of backpacking solo? Staying in hostels to meet people and then doing what backpackers do including drinking

tbh this is the kind of thing i did when i was ike early 20s and made lots of poor decisions in that regard, I am much mpre wary now and would expect her to be too tbh

Part of backpacking culture is meeting up with people at the hostel and spending time with them. However (and yet again), she is fast approaching 30 and this is something that people in their late teens early 20s do. Of course you can still socialise with people when you’re older but it often comes more naturally and less “anyone who is around my age and wants to get drunk will do”.

It just seemed a bit tragic that she was running around the place looking for someone to socialise with and couldn’t countenance enjoying herself in her own company for just a few days.

I second this. I do believe her friendship with Joel and Lia, who aren't even backpackers, is genuine though. She even introduced them to Jeremy!

Now I would pay good money to watch Christianne take Joel and Lia on budget airline, then cram them in the back of a tuktuk to some squalid hostel where they have to share a room with some random middle-aged men.

It would be like the opening scene of an episode of ‘How Clean is Your House’ where Kim and Aggie are appalled by and screaming at everything they see.
