It's frustrating that there are still a few people over there on the Sophie Cachia thread that don't seem to know about this thread here. They're talking about that photo of Sophie Cachia standing in the water with her handbag and posting there was a clue in the photo to her next business venture - which I'm guessing is either/both Japanese sun tanning/skin care range and second hand luxury handbags. Love that Alice would not allow anyone to speculate about Sophie Cachia's sexuality when Sophie constantly dropped hints and encourage the speculation. Alice is happy to speculate that Sophie's big news is a marriage and baby.
I'm so happy this thread has grown so fast! I had been thinking of rejoining gomi. So glad I've been spared that - imagine someone who runs a website and actually reads private messages between members. Private, Alice, private.


She's changed her insta bio to "Entrepreneur" . Probably sounds important in Sophie Cachia's mind but its literal meaning is "a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit." Not great when you are about to take on a mortgage.
Also, her latest story - there are at least 3 pizza boxes on the coffee table for 2 adults & 2 young kids? If Jarryd is in a social bubble with Sophie Cachia, MG can't be there. My husband and I can't get through one pizza together. Maybe they were small sizes

I saw the name of the on say one and only “I’m just like the best” Emmy lou or as I like to call her conniving em…. I’m going to admit I know but I’m not going to say how but let’s just I used to respect her because she gave someone I knew work, they had been together before she was even a “omg I’m such an influencer yes let’s throw a party cause I turned 40 and I hit 40k on Instagram & im so popular that Peter hitchy turned up and filmed the entire process and put it on YouTube” and before I mean they HELPED get her where she is….. on the content making side. And well let’s just say the things she got soon as she was offered to have her little shitty show on channel tens app after it being on YouTube (they were apart of making that), and became a regular talker on that morning channel show, got her cook book etc even tho she always raved that when they got big they’d take em with them and give them the connections to make THEM make it too.

spoiler alert …. She didn’t. She left them in dust because she become obsessed with the power and popularity of being “aussies related 40 yr old mum” and “if I can make it at this age you can too with hustle!!”

now this person tells me they’re glad they’re actually not with them now, did it sting a lot at the beginning when he could of been making bank from her shit Yes…. ON A POSITIVE THO since they stopped my close person now works for an incredible company that does media for real estate they gave them their OWN TEAM NOW!! People they get to delegated work too them, they gave them a raise after a year of hard ass word, they make incredible content and they grew with them from a small start up together to now building their own whole property to ustalise two whole levels for their new office (then rent the others to other company’s) they’re going to them their OWN BIG OFFICE with all the trimmings, all the additions they need for their gear, a big desk where they can watch over their team members basically they’re own section of the office including a STUDIO to film in. They going far and the amazing thing is they actually want to take my person with them the whole way and would be crushed if they ever chose to leave.

So yeah sorry for that massive rant but fuck it feels good to finally let it out

Leila is getting on my last nerve lately, I used to quite enjoy following her but she is actually really bad,
-Preaches self love, acceptance blah blah blah then gets free filler and Botox and lip injections with affiliate code (I know she claims she doesn’t now).
-calls out influencers for using filters, goes 1 whole day of no filter then returns to using filters on every single story she posts
- apparently her jewellery is cheap shit of Ali baba and she is trying she’s individually sourced the limited pieces (wasn’t she also making some of them?)
- I find her very self entitled, even with her mum being sick she seems to make it about herself
- today she posted an answer to a question and used the term reverse racism ( by the way there is no such thing racism is racism).

What on earth is wrong with him. Firstly, that joke isn’t even original. It’s an old meme that women love crime docs and would know how to take out their husbands. It's already been discussed on Gomi (hello Alice!) but my goodness - Sophie Cachia! Her photos of herself at the Space Jam movie compared to the photo Maddie posted of them together...Sophie looks different. This is becoming a concern for me - watching "influencers" (monetised and over 10k followers) post photos of themselves and comparing them to photos in which they are tagged and you can clearly see what they really look like. It's a sad world when these people encourage us (and are paid to do so ) to look like them or be like them, when they don't even look like themselves because of filters and sponsored dental work, cosmetics, skin care, laser hair removal, nutritional supplements, hair care, hairdressers, vanity-sized clothing, vanity book publications. I would be ashamed to call myself an "influencer" - taking money from sponsors to encourage your " followers" to spend copious amounts on products you were gifted in the grim attempt you may look or identify closer to said "influencers".

Oh god Voldemort over the weekend - I had to unfollow. I have followed her for awhile and we have interacted multiple times over shared experiences. But coming back on after her dramatic exit and posting SO MANY STORIES.

She called out Mia Freeman for her exercise post and I messaged her and said I didn't think that was helpful and that I, also a single mum, have managed to set up a similar routine. I think other people must have also messaged her because it hit a nerve and she made more and more comments about it. So I guess she only interacts with her followers when they agree with every thing she says. So no different from Leila or any of the others she claims to be so much better than. Maybe she could exercise at home instead of posting 750 IG stories per day.

And now she's back again - I have unfollowed for good this time. Her victim mentality and desperation for attention has spiralled so much in recent months, I am out!

This is exact it. She is a very flawed individual, as are we all, but as soon as someone disagrees she publicly shames them and creates a mass pile on. Its why her followers don’t grow. It takes a while to recognise the pattern but people see it eventually. One of the worst ones was how she was mocking a bindi being put on a new born baby, with a photo of a newborn in India. A women commented politely and explained why they do it and how the use of the image was offensive to her culture. Voldemort said she would delete but never did. She then put up a bunch of stories about how her writing was funny and she was proud of it and wouldn’t take it down as it forced white influencers into accountability. Seeing the classist things on her blog was the last straw for me.

Seems most influencers are highly anxious & medicated or so they say,
Cacha, Olivia White, Mel Watts & dreary old Britney Noonan all bang on about their anxiety.
