Notsomumsy IG stories are full of so much gaslighting and deflection - I'm doing it tough, I'm a single mum, I'm so busy homeschooling, I'm just helping small businesses, I support people choices, my page is all about love etc....

Does anyone view Jessica Wilson’s stories…why are her dining chairs always on the table. Of all the odd things I find about her this could well be the oddest.
That’s a bit interesting given she shared how easy it was to find Abby Gilmore’s address? One could call that Karma but I don’t think anyone’s privacy or safety should be compromised, however it’s gotta be noted that Smilf herself has shared details about her cabaret show a number of times in her stories, a quick google and there’s quite a few articles about the show with her full name advertised. Why share something so public about your past if you wish to remain anonymous online? Of course those that she clashes with are going to use it against her as a means to level the playing field, I’m more of the mind she doesn’t want her child’s father or her family to find out about her online persona, it was only recently she was sharing photos of her ex and stories about him during lock down, I don’t think he had any knowledge she was doing that, nor any of the previous details of his life she’s shared. Where is the same energy when it comes to his privacy?

I am all for career changes and continued study etc or even in the first year of motherhood, but not in a way where you literally have nothing and rely on family to support yourself. The landlord of Laura’s old place is tearing it down in four weeks so they said she can stay there until then. Apparently they don’t own the furniture so that’s why she doesn’t get to keep it. Husband has a new rental but she didn’t have a job (until recently) so was really struggling. I just can’t believe he isn’t helping her secure one and has kicked his wife out and left her to rely on the help of the Salvation Army. It so scary to think you can be married with someone and have their children and then just have them behave this way. I don’t understand how he had the power to dump her and kick her out.
Soph probably sent them one of her lawyer.com cease & desist letters! Yes ableist was the word used - I also cannot see how critiquing a 'company' website who are obviously charging for their services is ableist. Especially when the service she is offering is basically increasing people's social media presence which I assume would involve maybe a website/posts etc and her own is full of grammatical errors. I can't see her getting any business at all if that's any example of what she's putting out there.
She's down almost 2k followers in this past month which is great, however it won't be long until she starts propping it up with purchased bots like she always has.
The only positive I can take away from her latest grab for attention is her true character has become so much more transparent to the wider online community.
Let's see her try and cry bully or trolled in the future when she's just shown thousands of people her true uneducated, petty, transphobic and nasty colours in so many comment sections

Not so Mumsy still following Leila is throwing me in a spin. Is it a business networking thing where they all support each other despite different views. I actually don’t mind Marcia, have come across her in real life and she seems a genuine nice person. It’s hard to support anyone who supported those riots though.

You HAVE to have a personality disorder surely, to think people give a f*%k about the minutiae of your life (looking at you EL) your fashunn, your basic cooking skillz. Who in their right mind thinks of influencing as a legitimate job or worthwhile contribution to society?The cognitive dissonance, thanks for the term Leila, in influencers is so interesting. Some of them come across quite narcissistic. Especially the way they see their children as an extension of themselves, how they handle criticism and how they lie to deflect.

Parenting is hard for everyone. Sometimes being married can actually make it harder! Single parenthood isn’t new or special. Kick ass mums have been doing it for years solo, and in much tougher circumstances than single mums have it now. There’s recognition, payments, charities, school support etc etc that wasn’t around when my grandmother was a single mother. In fact she copped shame, bullying, estrangement and abuse from people on the street. These days many single mothers are celebrated and given a pat on the head for their hard work. Society acknowledges you and supports you. Doesn’t mean it’s easy, doesn’t mean you don’t get to complain every now and then. But shut the fuck up about it every damn day
100% this. I used to like smilf and still kinda do.. she’s got her issues and is problematic obvs. But for someone who is so hell bent on being anonymous and wants privacy, it all seems kind of self serving and hypocritical. She shares so much about her life and personal relationships eg her baby daddy and parents dramas, which isn’t really fair to them. That stuff is so personal and also unfair to share. She has a therapist and friends, surely they are enough to discuss these things with, not strangers online…
