I couldn’t believe her story when I saw it (or maybe I could because it’s coming from her). The poor child has cancer. As a mother I cannot understand what the parents are going through and how difficult it would have been for them to be faced with this decision. And she turns it into some sort of sexist issue. Absolutely disgraceful. Imagine being the parents and seeing her post.

I read this as a huge signal that not having kids is what’s caused the split with Lee because it’s such an extreme take.
The parents are offering their child the hope of having a choice of whether she wants to have a child, not declaring she is female so she must have children Georgia, which you wouldn’t be so hung up on if it wasn’t a personal issue for you.

If you don’t want to have kids, good for you - you have the choice to do that. If it’s caused the breakdown of your marriage well that’s unfortunate but that’s the consequence of a choice you are free to make.

Her take on this particular incident is truly awful and it does read like a sore spot for her personally.

It is a shame though because women are judged for not wanting children and there is value is showing that success as a women should not be linked to procreation.

She has really picked the wrong story to get that message across though. In fact has probably made people think she is just bitter that she doesn't have children which just dilutes her point

My sister in law (actually both) have decided they don't want children, and for one of them it did result in a divorce. That was after a few failed pregnancy attempts which also took a toll, but it was really sad for both of them. I think Lee and Georgia will struggle with their decision but hopefully in time things work out better for both of them. I'm not a Georgia fan but I know the children topic is so hard to navigate so I sympathise with them somewhat.

I really like Denny! But kinda stopped watching her after she got a nose job recently. I am all for transparency but this nose job thing seems to be a trend among influenzas lately.

At least she's not sitting at home recovering for a month like most Influencers

The unfortunate sister has just been to NY to go to all the Broadway shows while her husband ran the NYC Marathon so Georgia is probably jealous and going over to one up her sister.

I definitely think it has something to do with having children, because neither sister has gone down that path and they’re both getting close to 40 now.

I think the breakup will really trigger Georgia into grieving her Mother all over again, and regret going off to film the Bachelorette and missing out on spending her Mother’s last few months alive with her. I think she’s held onto the relationship with Lee as it’s justified the time she lost, but if she loses that then it won’t be fun.

Will keep my eye open for a house for sale sign when I drive past.

If I remember correctly her Mum had Pancreatic cancer which has one of the lower survival rates - I’m not sure how you wouldn’t discover that with a simple google search and make time with your Mum even if she’s telling you she’s fine

When Lee and Georgia were first together, he was talking about having kids in the future while she was saying she wasn't ready yet. If they are splitting up, it wouldn't surprise me if he meets someone else and has children pretty quickly.

I'm glad someone brought her up. I used to really like her content but now she is so showy. After seeing what she paid for her property and then the cars... eek. Good on her business wise- sooooo many people know of her, but yeah, very different now

Absolutely gross of Georgia to use that little girls story as a way to justify her not wanting kids. For some women it’s all they want, I’ve got girlfriends who were talking about having babies when we were 13! Than there was me, who never thought about and now after not meeting the right partner I’ve actually decided I don’t want them but my friends who were talking about it when we were kids now have 3-4 kids each and they adore being a mumma. Those parents did the best thing for their baby which was giving her choices - something a lot of women are not given! Now when she’s older she can choose whether to have kids or not, how Georgia saw that as an opportunity to spin it in her favour is baffling to me. I don’t know much about Georgia only from what’s been said here but am I correct in saying that she didn’t get to say goodbye to her dying mother because she chose to go film a reality show instead? I could never ever EVER live with myself if I did that and if she was able to just do then she really shouldn’t be a mother. Being a mother is being completely selfless and it’s no longer about you, it’s about you and your baby.

Re: Justin OMR ex - isn’t he from WA and very good friends with drug sniffing ATO fraud star Kristin Fisher? Both the same raging druggies who owe shitloads of money. The ATO is more lenient and she had her big wig in law help her but I think old Justin is going to be behind bars like Roxy’s hubby for this.
