I’m curious - are there are any influencers you trust? For me, there are a couple that I’ve been following for years and have had quite a few DM exchanges with. And they always respond and are lovely.
But are there any who have influenced you to make a purchase or support them? Mine are LDB and Bondi Mumma

LDB I really have a soft spot for her, but not really on influencer level, as I don’t feel she tried to hock ads just to con people into buying things, more on a personal level I like her. She also says no to companies that don’t align with her. Not many others I follow can say the same.
I honestly can’t say I have any I actually like, that I feel genuinely promote products they love, they all seem to start off ok, but they end up getting taken over by the grift.
My patience for these scabby cunts has really worn thin and it’s thanks to the Kearns & Emmylous of the world. Downright worst cunts going.

I’m surprised people love LDB so much, she was full mummy blogger until she decided she wanted to be Clementine Ford and started copying all of her content 🤷‍♀️

I recently bought Indy Clinton’s Bondi boost as, a blow out brush and I absolutely loved it. She sold it to me because her hair looked amazing. I also trust Amy Gerard, the Mcobeauty lash mascara is amazing that she said. I don’t trust any influencers who post more than 2 partnerships a month

I’d be interested to know more broadly the influencers that any Tattlers actually like 🥹

i will say that Instagram is much less dimensional than tiktok, however I don’t have the time for tiktok anymore. So in terms of IG influencers.. there’s probably not many I trust or even like. Some are entertaining and have good fashion sense but doesn’t mean I like them and I certainly don’t trust them as at the end of the day, influencing is a commercial endeavour. I do think Mary tee is a genuine person, she’s a smaller fashion influencer on IG, but she still of course pumps out the content (because that’s her $$.) I think Clare Bridgett the make up girly seems sweet, and I did like theroject maybe a year or more ago but she sold out very quickly and does so much sponsored content.
I don’t trust any influencers opinion as such, but I am open to exploring new items - mainly clothing - that they show in a casual manner (user generated content or whatever it’s called) rather than an actual ad.

Can’t stand her smug face, always thinks she’s the college of knowledge on everything and so condescending

I like Erin Holland! She's not a FT influencer and has a very busy, high travel real job but she always replies to outfit questions and just to say thank you for a compliment. She seems really lovely and a true professional

NONE!! Anyone getting paid to give a positive opinion on a product or service is an actor imo.

Yeah I agree, there’s some I like and like their style but I wouldn’t say I “trust” any.

Amy Gerard did get me onto Mcobeauty, but none of the products she’s promoted. It’s just a damn good brand!!

I don’t trust much of anything from influencers unless they are super niche or specialist but I guess in that case they aren’t full influencers! I do like Rachel James- a mum who has an actual part time job at a law firm I believe, she shares clothes from iconic a lot and I have a similar body shape. I also like kiwi Ash Owens. All her collabs are very very aligned with her personality and style. Thats about it
