I’m so sorry people like her are putting stress on you like this at the most important time of your life. I just had my little one and I WISH I could’ve had the vaccine while pregnant. I feel like my baby is so vunerable now until they approve them for children. So even though I’m vaxxed I’m scared about life going back to normal because of people like Anna who are misleading people into not getting vaccinated. These people think they are championing for the mental health of others but they are really destroying people’s mental health, personally I have felt bouts of hopelessness and anxiety when I see their misinformation spread. All they really want is for these gullible followers to buy their products. It’s so sad they get away with it.

I’m desperately bored of Clementine. I unfollowed her yesterday. She made a vaccine account. Why can’t she post all this stuff on that? Covid stuff is just taking over everything, including quality snark!

Clem has a much larger following on her main Instagram account with a much farther reach to help educate and inform her followers re: current misinformation surrounding Covid,why shouldn’t she use her platform if it’s for the greater good?

I have kids and live in Victoria and have been in 7 lockdowns and counting. I actually have a child who has missed almost their entire 2 senior years school experiences because of this including senior formals, camps, sporting events, the school production two years in a row and so on. Trying to do the amount of work required of year 11 and 12 kids at home with younger siblings is extremely tough on them. I have also had to help younger siblings with their remote learning. It hasn’t been fun. My kids sure haven’t had a great time, like everyone we are all being impacted by the pandemic.

But people like Roza Russian with her extremely privileged life, have no real idea what the majority of people are going through. Nor does she have the critical thinking skills it seems to understand why we can’t just send all kids back to school. Children are contracting, getting very sick with, and spreading covid. This isn’t like last year when we were all convinced that kids were practically immune and would be fine if they caught it. We have done “the right thing” in Victoria and yet cases are going up, and a quick glance at the exposure site map shows how quickly and far this is spreading again. Because regional vic had 10 days out of stage 4. Because people went to those damn protests, egged on by twits like Leila and Chloe Szep (I don’t know all of the influencers who have been vocal about it).
Because despite what we want to believe, some people don’t follow the rules, and then it spreads.

So why would we believe that sending kids back to school is going to work when there’s absolutely no way to guarantee that everyone will follow the rules? Sophie won’t make her kids wear masks or stay within her 5km. She’s not the only one she’s just one of the public ones.
No offence but I don’t want my kids to die from this very real very contagious virus, so no I don’t support the whackos pushing their agendas like Roza Russian and that page she’s promoting.

Yep.. how sad to get kids to push your adult agenda. Wearing a backpack down the street.. wtf! I won't be using my kids as pawns and filming them thanks ..to satisfy a LNP agenda.. sick

If you care about youth suicide, focus on your OWN kids Iives or help out or raise money for independent youth suicide charities! Of course if there's no fancy lunch and goodie bag to go with it they won't bother.. will be forgotten soon..

I agree - no way a rental inspection takes place. I think it's a set and forget investment. As long as the rental income is deposited in your account each month - $650 week! - then who cares what happens to the carpet. That carpet must be 80 years old and if you can claim the tenant damaged it, the tenant has to replace it.

Yep. I am uncomfortable seeing all the anecdotal suicide stats - mostly because according to the suicide register, there hasn't actually been an increase in suicide. Our youth suicide rate is horrific generally but I've never seen an influencer talking about this before ever - it seems to be the latest bandwagon they are jumping on to talk about how much they hate lockdowns. I just hate the 'make it stop' mentality without a viable solution. What - let it rip because you'll be fine? I am surrounded by people like this in my very wealthy, very privileged neighborhood where the complaints by people, most of whom only have one parent working, not a single one I know who has lost their job or had their business impacted, are out of control. There is no DOUBT that these lockdowns are SHIT. But these neighbours biggest worry is that they can't go to their beachouses and can't go to parties and dinners. I'm with them - I want that as much as the best of them, but I also don't want to see thousands of vulnerable people die so until we get every eligible for a vax, I honestly can't see what the solution is. The endless commentary seems to be 'won't anyone think of the children'. literally Rozalia said 'no-one is saying just open up, but mental health and lives need to be taken into consideration'. Yep. AND??? What is the viable option.

NB -I am not downplaying mental health issues, it is quite clear that is impacting lots of children.

It’s surprising me that it’s taken this long for some advocacy for kids in all this. Reality is only one kid has died of covid in Australia full stop. He had underlying health issues. Absolutely zero doubt that lockdown and home learning has been a necessity to combat the numbers, but we are now at a point in which Melbourne kids have lost the most school days IN THE WORLD!!!
There needs to be a plan to send them back, the repair process for this is going to be pretty extreme on teachers, and the tax payer $$$$. I’m not even touching on mental health of the kids, or the children who have vulnerable situations and have 100% suffered abuse from their parents during all this. DHHS reports absolutely sky rocket across the board during every lockdown. Childcare now being only for essentials has also increased this. As much as I hate the influencers, it’s good to see some kind of push back for the children…even if it might be self motivated because they’re driving their parents nuts!

Anyway, my rant is over, back to the snark!
