I hadn't seen that! That's a bit cringe and off-putting tbh but I'm going to have to separate the art from the artist or I'd have to stop listening to half of my favourite ASMRtists. Weird Insta/Twitter shenanigans seem profilic among ASMR creators for some reason

Totally fair! I just kinda can't as I saw it first hand and it's given me the minor ick. He's talented for sure, just was v needy - I personally hadn't (and now won't out of principle and pettiness) liked any of his photos but not as a personal attack, they were just selfies of an ASMRtist I follow and not worthy of more than a swipe to next!

Speaking of oddballs, Luo Dong Spiritual Massage. His channel comes & goes but there's plenty uploads of his to be found elsewhere when he gets banned again(!). Some say he's a creepy pervert, others he's doing the Sky God's work, but whatever, I find he hits the ASMR mark. He's not a qualified masseuse, seems to just be making it all up off the top of his head, but I reckon he's a sincere nutcase who means well

Over the game that’s coming out. She’s saying that boycotting the game is stupid and she’s going to play it anyway and she’s being very confrontational with anyone who speaks their feelings and calling them bullies and telling them to stfu.

I usually like most of ASMR Twix's videos, but honestly, I can't stand her voice people rave on and on in the comments about what a nice voice she has, but she always sounds like she has a terrible head cold with this "whisper speech" she's trying to do and managing neither a whisper (fair enough, you want the viewers to understand you) nor speaking up with her real voice. I always need to skip the last minutes of her videos because of that, but in her most recent one, she does a stupid and lengthy in-video ad and it really put me off.

I prefer Shili tv over twix.

She's another one who I have to be in the right mood for - sometimes I absolutely love her voice and sometimes it sets my teeth on edge. She also blatantly copied an intro of Latte's and didn't credit her which annoyed me

If I remember correctly someone commented about her copying Latte on a video and she was quite arsey with them.

Relatively. She’s been saying there’s been something wrong for a few months but the video is the first time she’s talked about her thyroid issues.

i just saw one video on the beach, so noisy, how is this relaxing?! he also just seems like a perv tbh which seems like the market he is catering for, what other asmr channels by men are solely done on women with descriptions of what the are wearing etc in the title?!

If you like Queen of Serene you might like MorikaASMR. I only found her recently but her voice and style of ASMR really reminds me of Queen of Serene.

I think her parents live relatively nearby and probably checked out the property for her before she bought it and maybe were just trying to help her. but im not positive... she did blast her real estate agent so im thinking it was her own find.

anyone have any good recommendations of massage/facial ones that do (soft spoken) commentary? I listen to them with my eyes closed usually so without speaking it does nothing for me.

I’m watching lots of whispers red at the moment. And I like nefertiti - when she speaks French my brain fizzes.
My fave artist river has stopped making ASMR deleted his videos and started concentrating on his royal gossip channel. Gutted.

I just had a completely random memory: does anyone remember a female ASMRtist with long dark hair that used to dress in incredibly slutty clothes (usually just lingerie) and never ever showed her face? I think she often showed her mouth and wore bright lipstick. What on earth was she called? I think she may have had her channel deleted by YouTube a couple of years ago because of her NSFW content. I want to say her channel name was something about lips?

she still has her channel though hasn’t posted in a couple of months, she doesn’t seem to do any ASMR now and is mostly vlog style stuff.

I feel like no one knows what she posted on OF Dpks, on twitter they said it was full nudity but in her vlog about the incident BBBY said it wasn't nude at all. Who knows what to believe.

To my knowledge Cozy Hospital is Crinkleluvin. I do watch her channel since I'm a big fan of medical asmr and she does it differently than the others (more realistic). Guess she decided to stop hiding

This thread made me realise that BBBY is literally insane - a quick trip over to her vlog channel to confirm her victim complex made me instantly unsubscribe. I feel terrible because she has close creator friends like Yvette ASMR (who I love!) who is most likely being sucked into her crazy world. It is unsurprising that a couple other creators in her sphere are very problematic.

In other ASMR news, I'm glad ASMR Requests is back as Ally Etc. ! I think there's going to be an adjustment period in her setup and production quality as her ex is no longer editing her videos, but she feels like the friend who went travelling for years and just came back!

In terms of recommendations, I highly advocate for the ASMR quality of these channels (I don't know a lot about their drama)

• JellyBeanGreenASMR - One of the few channels I genuinely fall asleep to instantly, she is so relaxing and gives cool aunt vibes!
• SouthernSoundsASMR - She seems like such a sweet soul, I love the regular uploads and lo-fi really works for her!
• LatteASMR - An undisputed ASMR queen. Those long intros and the set designs are A-Class. Shame she hasn't used long intros recently.
• MyalingASMR - Very similar to Latte. The production quality is insane and I feel like she has her own unique style.
• Relaxing Male ASMR - I heard in a TysonASMR video that he intentionally does husband/boyfriend role-plays to boost engagement (fair enough), but I find his voice to be highly soothing and relaxing in any case!
• GibiASMR - The first video I ever saw was by her. I don't feel like she does 'ASMR' specifically anymore, I just consider them relaxing videos.
• NamelessNomadASMR - I recently fell in love with this guy & his videos. He feels like a friend I've always known, I love the weird mouth sounds he can make!
• RachASMR - Clicky whispers are definitely niche, but I really like Rach's channel and it has grown really quickly. Not that I feel entitled to it, but I think that the way she is so transparent about her past is very refreshing and great for building trust with the viewer!

Ooh thanks for the new recommendations will check them out - I follow RachASMR but have never heard her talk about her past, what have I missed?!
