Perhaps Saf’s mum didn’t agree with the large public funeral & told them so. Leading to her not being included with all the other family members. She was upset that her daughter was not consoled by Ashley. He didn’t seem to hug Saf or support her. Just stood beside her. Yes l know he was grieving. Just would you not want to hold onto your partner & support each other?

Saf is clearly struggling & needs help. I think she needs her mum & her mum needs her. They had been so very close & no matter your age sometimes you just need your mum!

What about the family members who are always with them? When do they see their own families & go to their work? Saf struggled as her brother was on holiday & wasn’t with her. He has his own stuff to deal with. I just think they need to get away from social media & grieve.

I haven’t seen that comment, but that’s why I really disagree with them setting up their own charity, they 100% should have donated every penny raised for azalea to an existing children’s cancer charity as a lot of money is swallowed up setting up a new charity, not to mention he will be taking a big wage for running it! Which, I do hate to say, but think this is why he refused to donate it. If an existing charity received such a generous donation in the baby’s name, they would have honoured her & her legacy would be recognised that way, so don’t buy his excuse for needing a separate charity for this reason either! It’s just all about him & believe me I have first hand experience of this situation, my close friend lost his little boy & he does charity events/runs in his name but has never once made everything about him, that is not part of any grieving process I’m familiar with…….
Exactly all of this ☝ only now are we allowed to voice our opinions on the fact that they have in effect kept all the money donated. Its disgusting when there are children and their families who could so benefit right this second from even a small amount of what is public donations🤬

They really need professional help, I can't imagine what they're going through but all this anything orange is a sign from azaylia and seeing faces in the clouds is very unhealthy in my opinion. That poor baby got no peace at all even in her last couple of days she was being passed around and danced all around the living room with music booming and a house full of people when it was clear she was very weak and just needed to rest.
I totally agree. Imagine during your final hours there a party going on around you. Laughing, loud music and being moved from person to person. I have young children and would want peace so I could take in every last second of them. I wouldn’t want a party!

Ashley is allowed to deal with his grief however he wants. In my opinion if focusing on something like his fitness is keeping is mind healthy and helping him then its a good thing. When people lose people they can also go the whole other way. Ive seen people
Turn to drugs and drink and really self destruct. Losing a baby, your child i can image rips your souls apart. Im not sure how i would love my husband if i ever went through that pain. I feel i would be very cold as well and i would be in a world of anger. I would not want love from anyone. I agree saf is dealing with it different but the thing is grief is a solo journey. Im glad she has other family around her and that he does too. I think they are both finding ways to live through each day and it must be agony

So agree with all this. I feel so sad for them
But they are both so lost and strung up with Instagram. The shouting let’s go champ all the time I don’t know something weird about it. What bothered me about Saf was the promoting/AD of a hair curler only a few weeks ago it just made me cringe a wee bit 😣 not sure where they go from here social media wise but it’s sad to see. I feel like saf is always putting on a front

Do people usually tend to park a load of cars at the graveyard like how ash and his family do? Just seems they are taking it over with all the cars lined up
We have a graveyard not far from us and we have never seen anything like this. Nor have we seen the amount of teddies, balloons etc. I know they r grieving but I really feel they need proper professional help. This isn't healthy every single day/night going down. Saf is struggling and the only person who seems to help her every day is her brother.

It’s the Ashley Cain show. All the credit seems to go to him when Saf has been through just as much and is trying just as hard.
His eyes are so cold. Isn’t she the one who carried the child. You’d think she wasn’t part of it. Why is it him and his brother on sky? She’s really being pushed to the sidelines isn’t she

I see he’s just put up a post as though it’s just him & his brother there, no mention of Saf being there having driven them, or her brother travelling with them, putting in the same hard work & dedication. All about him; the disrespect is astonishing & I don’t know how she stands it. It’s like he allows her out for the breakfast show because a united front with the baby’s mum makes him more palatable/bookable for daytime TV, but for the gram he’s just preening & posing & pretending she doesn’t exist! The way he blanked her when she tried to include him on her live, I just find it shocking the contempt he treats her with!
I thought that too. When she posted on her Instagram story and they were getting things out the van. Sorry but he wants to be anywhere else but with Saff. I don’t know if she notices but it’s heartbreaking to watch

Also, is it just me that feels like the majority of posts when she was in hospital or at home clearly very ill were of Ashley at the forefront?
Just didn't get it at all.

The mother is pot kettle black, She posts about narcissists, she looks like she is desperate for the attention. She wants a piece of it. You need to really ask yourself why her daughter wasn't quick in involving her when she passed.

I'm sorry but posting the door bell video of them taking the baby to the ambulance. It is going above and beyond whats the need, have some respect for the baby... She has turned her comments off on her latest post on insta so she must of had a backlash. My mum would never post all that without my consent, for attention lets make that clear I don't believe it's fully for the awareness, She comes off as there is always a underlying dig to everything.
It’s beginning to look fro what I have learned here about bloody bespoke suits and dresses for the funeral, that most of their agendas are not right. Who the hell wastes money that was said to save lives on bloody bespoke outfits whilst all the time bleating on about wanting to save children’s lives. I’m disgusted and outraged. Looking back through all their Instagrams I think they are all narcissistic and all want a piece of the limelight and of course money 😩😩😩

The way they filmed poor Azaylia in her last days was horrific..

she was being passed around, loud music, singing. I felt so sorry for her she looked like she just wanted to be held 😢😢😢

The presents they got for his mum! All about the wee baby, now yes, they all miss her but get her some things that are about her but don’t make everything about her! (I’m sorry if this comes across as being cold)

I’m not here to comment on Ashley’s past behaviour as I had no idea who he was. I’m also not here to comment on the charity as I don’t know enough about it.
However, I found it absolutely bizarre that any parents first thought would be to pick up your phone and post these pictures and videos to Instagram when going through one of the most difficult times of your life. I have totally sympathy for them grieving their only child and can’t imagine how it feels. But I do feel they have become addicted to the social media fame generated by it.
Perhaps it’s a distraction. But I find it so so distasteful. I also don’t know how you could treat your daughters funeral as a photo op. I couldn’t follow them when it was happening as it made me so uncomfortable. And maybe I’m old fashioned but I believe some things are private and should be done with dignity. And perhaps social media generation is very different …. But I don’t understand it.
I couldn’t agree more. It just baffles me. Yes, take pictures of your child, especially when you know she won’t be around forever, but during emergency situations and when she’s suffering and, quite literally, dying? Why??
They clearly had a professional photographer at the funeral too, in the same way you would for a wedding. Again, why?? It’s just all for show, in my opinion, and further evidence that Ashley sees himself as some sort of celebrity whose everyone wants to be a part of. Delusions of grandeur.

All the people on this thread who have lost kids I am truly sorry I can't imagine
But to say u can't speak on or judge them well that's not true. Everyone has the right to an opinion and if they are now monitising their platforms we have a right to comment if they are now running a charity they should be held accountable. I haven't experienced alot of things but I can pass judgement in it that's just human nature

I definitely think they have been told not to have any more balloon arches.

I know I'm completely speculating here, but it's awful if they've been allowed things (such as the miniature fencing) just because of their online following etc, whereas others would get told to take it down.

He’s said he’s dedicating himself to the charity so will this be his job now? So he’ll take an income from running it? If so, that’s really unfair to Saf, seems he’s pushing her out of having a say or having an active involvement & from what she says she wants to be all over it! So yes she should be at every meeting & named on the board if he is, never mind having a day out to London with your mate & posing on the train, take your partner & stand side by side with her!!!!! Get such bad vibes from him lately; bossy, selfish & yes grief does horrendous things to people but his ego is just out of control, it wasn’t just his little girl & it isn’t just all about him now she’s tragically passed 💔
Think he is just showing his true colours again! He has always had a massive massive ego! He has always wanted/needed to be in the limelight preferably fame celebrity status and the lifestyle that goes with it. He used to act out this lifestyle I’m guessing with credit cards etc? Now he is able to live that lifestyle. Not that for a second I don’t see how broken he is before anyone comes at me.

Did anyone else not find last nights antics really bizzare. Ashley arrived in newquay on the carpark literally meters away from the hotel saff was staying at and she was not there to greet him. Also the team went for a meal for his brothers birthday while she sat alone in a hotel lobby Instagram live chatting to strangers off her Instagram.

I agree and I'd hate to think he was using the money to fund his lifestyle at the moment. I mean I'm not saying it's extravagant but he did say when he set up the fund raising page that himself and safiya had to make financial sacrifices hence asking for the money for treatment and to support them while they were there, so I'd imagine he's not got much in the way of savings or anything left. He's not working and is out on the bike or training most days so they money must be coming from somewhere. I just think there must be a child somewhere waiting for that treatment, donate the money now instead of waiting a year to set up a charity, which like you say eats in to those funds. I just think it's donations, others people's money, if you're not going to donate directly to help another child then at least offer a refund, yeah most folk won't take it but he's sort of claimed it as his own for what he see's fit, it's a lot of money. I'm sure he said go fund me had ring fenced it so I might be way off.

They’re all just as bad as each other, in my opinion. They illustrate the ugly side of social media beautifully!
I think you are right, some people think just because of what has happened with them loosing azalyia you aren’t meant to say anything along the lines of negative or that goes against them. But I’m sorry people can’t walk on egg shells forever as there’s a few things that just don’t ring right

It’s a difficult one 😭
It was evident she has passed when she had the bobble hat on and they were holding her but for me I had hope she would make it, i even donated until I saw the bleeding from her eyes that scared me and then i knew time was running out for babygirl, I can’t imagine what they are going through now, honestly I found my cousin who was 9mnths (living with me,long story) dead from cot death but had loads of health issues from her mother and it still effects me till this day. I hope they can have a healthy baby when they are ready , hopefully they make the relationship stronger between them.🌸💗
