I’m so happy that she will be able to get the treatment that she needs, but you can’t help feel sad for all the parents who don’t have a platform to raise that amount of money and so fast 😔 It’s just sad all round that any child has to go through all this. It’s heartbreaking.

I know every single penny counts but Dannielle Armstrong donated £5... no words at all. She had the cheek to write on the story she shared ‘just donated’ no words at all.
The fact she is announcing that she has donated is bad enough but seriously a fiver is shameful coming from her

I defy anyone who was in their position to not do what he did if my daughter was ill and I could use my semi celeb status to raise some funds I would most certainly be doing it!!!
Having had a daughter in special care the costs of pretty much living in a hospital mount up, you can’t eat properly you can’t even live you basically just survive each day/night you need money to eat and it can be really expensive I hope they can get the treatment they need to give her the best chance

I think the strength and positivity Ashley and Safiya have shown throughout this has been inspirational. I really hope the treatment in Singapore works

I have never watched the show he was on but from what I see on his Instagram from the past few months I think he is absolutely incredible and inspiring, Saffiya too. I pray to god they get the treatment for that beautiful baby and she lives a long healthy life. Sometimes the internet can be an amazing place and he has used it for something so pure and good.

These influencers are notorious for faking luxury lifestyles. What he has in the bank won't be reflective of what you see on the instagram feed.

I respect that this a gossip forum and people have a right to express their opinions both good and bad.
However, the reason we are all here is to express our love and sympathy for Azalia, this is not the place for politics.

Please be kind to each other and remain positive for this beautiful girl, she needs all the love possible at the minute

I’m happy the baby gal got the money for operations but I’m sorry I thought this guy was worth millions , couldn’t he easily funded the deposit and then crowdfunded the rest ? Maybe he isn’t as rich as he pretended to be .
Hopefully the little girl will get beat treatment there is , mind blowing it costs 1 million to save someone’s life 😭

Agreed. I would imagine the cars were leased. Everything is usually gifted or loaned. I know of so called celebs who even rent watches and bags.

Exactly, and you would have to be a hard bastard to think oh I use my daughters aggressive cancer to crowdfund some extra cash for my pocket. Whatever he’s done or how he’s acted in the past can’t cloud the fact the man is clearly doing whatever he can to save his daughters life
You are right. He has already said on the go fund me page the extra funds will be used to help families in a similar position, who don't have the instagram status to fund their treatment. I think that's actually really lovely.

His daughter is seriously ill and he is still trying to help other children. His devotion to his daughter is clear to see, the last thing I believe he is worried about is money for any reason other than to get her life saving treatment.

As a parent he just wanted to raise it ASAP and he did it for her, the only way he could, I know I would be the same in his position. I think we all would. Good luck to them I say. 🙂

Donations should be private as the news articles are now about which celebs have donated instead of the reason why they are donating!! They all have huge platforms and it would be nice to see them use it to support go fund me pages etc but we both know they don’t do anything without wanting recognition or paid for it 😩
The annoying one is the owner of PLT giving 20 thousand pounds. That's amazing publicity for PLT. Cheap advertising for him when the press make it known as they have and people flock to PLT to buy from him. He's a billionaire so could have paid the full million in private without anyone knowing (how George Michael for example used to donate his cash) and he wouldn't have missed the money. Now sales will probably go up of the cheap tat he sells that's unsustainable and bad for the planet.

I can’t believe he is worth millions, he was on some reality show I’ve barely heard of a few years ago and played non league football. But he has used the platform he has to try and save his baby girl. Life is so cruel that a 7 month old baby can have cancer, breaks my heart.

I keep writing a message and deleting it cos I don’t really know the right thing to say. I just know she’s in my thoughts and I’m praying for them. Not sure why it makes me feel emotional because it’s not family or a friend but that just shows how many people care for her and have followed her journey. Praying for you little lion. You’ve got this 🤍💫

I just hope this beautiful girl gets to Singapore after reading his latest posts where it sounds like they’ve found leukaemia in her brain my heart is breaking even more for them all, I just can’t imagine the heartbreak they are going through I don’t think I could be as strong as them

I get were you are coming from but find it odd that people have an issue with how much money they have raised because they are “celebs” (hardly). No one forced anyone to donate. You can go on go fund me and search “cancer treatment” or what ever you prefer to spend your money on and donate to them. I don’t mean that to sound snide I just don’t know how to write differently 💜 I usually donate to animals needing surgery. I’m hoping Ashley and his girlfriend share other people’s go funds me to help raise awareness and maybe donate any money they have over their target to less fortunate families.
I agree, no one forced anyone to donate, but they are in the public eye, with famous people clambering over themselves to donate (or being slagged off on here for not donating). These 'celebs' could donate to another cause as well/instead.

ETA; I think my 'issue' is that it feels like there's some self promotion going on.

I donated too, but I wouldn't want them to waste a single second with their little girl to take the time to update instagram.

I understand why Kerry’s comment got peoples back up but really, this guy has perpetuated a millionaires lifestyle for years. Are we really to believe he hasn’t a penny of his own to his name to contribute towards it? Why is it unfair to ask these questions when so many have donated? What has he donated from his own money? It’s such a public affair that asking the question is perfectly reasonable (albeit maybe not the right time to do so at the moment)

I also think with so many people invested in the little girls future both emotionally and financially they could have asked a family member to update everyone on their behalf (I know one of the mums posted but a proper update)
He has been financing them for the last 7 months paying for hotels and not working. You have no idea what he has contributed he obviously would spend everything he has but even very wealthy people would struggle to find 1 million in cash at short notice. I just find it odd to be honest anyone would even ask this, surely the only thing that matters is that little girl getting well.

You can hardly blame him they a lot got raised quickly, any parent would do the same.

Nobody was forced to donate and if you do so, feeling it entitles you to certain information than you shouldn’t donate. This child is gravely ill possibly terminally ill the fundraising was a last ditch attempt to save her. Hopefully they will update saying they are in Singapore or in the process of getting her there. But maybe they aren’t and for that reason we need to respect their rights to privacy ❤
Well said I am truly shocked people would even have these thoughts.

The thing is, Azaylia isn’t public property but her parents have decided to share her / their story online. Which is their choice. I think it’s admirable that they’ve raise lots of money and we don’t really know how much money they’ve got - whats money if you haven’t got your or your family’s health?

At the core of this is a baby suffering through an awful illness. Let’s hope she is as ok as she can be ❤

It's so desperately sad. All the plans you make for your future as a new family when you are pregnant and they haven't been able to experience any of it ☹. I think it's so unfair too how they only let one parent with her at a time. There should 100% be different rules for situations like this. Let them spend as much time together as a family as they can and to just be there for support for one another 💔.
