Saff just said on her lives there is a lot of things going on in the background thats making her sad. People asked if she has anyone and all she was aunti michelle, vicky and family.. So just Ash's lot then? Fuck sake, I wish I knew her man, I'd take her away from all this shit, like a bereavement retreat type thing where she can just chill & heal.

Tbh I think if Saf came here and read comments she would actually feel supported. Nothing overly bad has been said, the funeral maybe but I’m sure they knew some people wouldn’t be okay with it and that’s fine. People are always going to do things differently in life to how others would and that’s okay. That little boy in her story, take your son home out of the wind and rain u shit excuse of a parent!! Ugh I swear this generation just makes me want to jump off a fucking cliff!!

Where’s her mates ffs? It’s so sad, she’s so isolated and alone. Her brother can’t be the only one looking out for her.
And her mum, surely you’d just get on the train Edinburgh and turn up. No matter how much you were rejected wouldn’t you keep trying for the sake of your daughter?

I really do believe with the platform they have they could really do so much good

I hope soon we see some families stories being shared and helped . And start to talk not just about azaylia journey but about other families that desperately need donors or funds for treatmeants .
This seems like a great way to raise money. I dunno, criticise them all you want for how they behave but this is something lots of charities do to raise awareness and fits with the fitness vibes. I lost a child in pretty traumatic circumstances and wasn't diagnosed with PTSD until a few years after. Not looking for an argument just maybe give them some slack. They don't have to behave in any way to appease anyone, grief is a fucking trip and people do all sorts of strange things.

Long time lurker, first time commenting. I literally could have thrown up this morning watching that blonde girl on Ashley’s stories go in for that hug, have ahh if you watched her stories?? She is clearly infatuated by Ashley and has gone to get his attention and not for support! I don’t understand why they are letting baloons off every night! Why do one good thing followed by a mound of bad things! Such a shame because I did follow their journey but now all I see is poor Saf being treated as if she doesn’t exist and Ashley being treated like he’s some sort of God

On Safs live this morning she takes about people making merch with Azaylia on and being worried that they aren’t donating it to charity. They need to get some sort of thing in place where people can’t just sell stuff.

aww man watching Safs stories and it’s like Ashley and his family are the ones that have lost their baby and doing all the fundraising it’s like she’s just a random woman that happens to be there, but it was her baby she carried her for nine months, but watching the stories it seems they kind of taken over and even some of his family seem a little dismissive of her and it’s all about Ashley poor Saf she needs to say something Azaylia was her baby too 😭

He also said he’s a very open and affectionate person when it comes to expressing his feelings. Said he’s mega affectionate with people and even got his dad to hug him snd open up to him when he never has before. I’ve had little niggles over the situation but this whole newquay situation has really made me think for sure something is off. Then he peddled her out the next morning for a photo op, almost like he ‘let’ her come down to the beach for that bit. She’s not even sure if she’s greeting him at the finish line in Scotland
He has a funny way of showing affection towards Saf doesn’t he. Doesn’t even mention her when talking about Azaylia

I think it would really benefit Saf (and Ash) if she could meet up with other mums that are in similar positions and have lost their babies, like a little comfort/support group. It breaks my heart how lonely she must be.

It’s heartbreaking for both of them, however at the moment this bike challenge is consuming Ash’s life.

It’s a shame really that she no longer has a relationship with her mother. Of course there’s reason but I feel like Saf could really do with her mother’s support.
Going back to azaylias funeral I remember Safs mum posting a pic with her in the background saying something along the lines of feeling helpless watching her daughters heart breaking with no arms around her.. so I suppose it’s not only us noticing the lack of support for Saffiya.

I wonder how much the funeral was… they had loads. Balloons, throne bench, a really fancy set up. Probably used an events set up type thing. Photographer. Etc All costs money.
I still don’t think they have spent even 100K out of the 1.6M and they raised 50K last week. Everything has been a show, from start to finish. The way they documented the poor child dying, it should have been private. And at that point, I couldn’t stand them both. But I’ve since warmed to Saf. But when you think about him breakdancing at the funeral. Playing Luther Vandross at the grave yard, with phones out and dancing, and OTT grave decorations, now this, Messiah & endless cycling with confetti thrown on him and bullshit motivational speeches. You can see it’s been about him all along. It rubs me up the wrong way rotten when he says “my daughter”. So God knows what it makes Saf feel like.

Sorry but this made me laugh. You just know 99% of these obsessed people haven’t worked a day in their lives but feel as if they’re contributing to society by being weirdly obsessed with a baby that died who they never knew. When Azaylia was sick I will admit I cried at some of the snaps and in the end I had to unfollow both of them as I’ve a baby born a month after Azaylia and seeing her deteriorate really was fucking with my head. But these people who are obsessed, I dunno I’ve just no words. Like yeah, a baby u didn’t know who sadly passed away helped you win a teddy. Fuck off!

I genuinely do not think this is about fame or celeb status. I think he doesn't wanna be in that house. Which I 1000% understand. If it was any of my kids I'd lock the front door and never go back in. He needs to be open and honest, not all this I'm a warrior I'm a fighter mentality, cancer isn't a boxing match it's an evil evil disease.

That dancing video of Ash was a bit cringe. Saying he's stopped dancing. Erm was he not having dance offs and break dancing at his own daughters funeral? All standing round chanting at him and clapping him 😬

To be fair they said this is just the start of what they are going to donate so who knows they could potentially end up giving hundreds of thousands over the coming months/years
For a charity to work there needs to be full transparency from day 1,there was 1•6 million donated which as yet people have only seen 20 grand go to the cause which we donated for..I do think they will make it work and it will be successful but I also think that that 1•6 million should have gone directly to other families who are in the position they were in a few months ago and then work on their charity.

Since reading this thread I have reflected a lot about my babies funeral and of myself and now ex partner supported eachother. I only remember two times we touched eachother at the funeral when we first seated my ex partners legs was uncontrollably shaking soI put my hand on his thigh to give a little support he then held both my hands in his. & again when we was leaving the chapel he held me and guided me through as I felt very hazed
I feel as though we grieved completely separate. Grief defiantly made us drift apart we have had zero contact for 9 years now

Oh definitely, she’s probably raised what we’re talking about already with Saf but being a loving & doting partner she’s sided with Ash

!!! She’s doing more than the foundation at this point , I thought the foundation page would post other people’s stories struggling & share on their insta stories etc

I’m so passionate about helping & supporting Saf , being in the loneliest & darkest places are the worst. I’ve been there & tried to end my life , I would hate if she got in that place
I hope your doing good now and I’m a much happier place x

The aunts were banging the front door down recording it all with all the crap on the drive, while they were inside in the last days of the babies life. Was absoloutly disgusting.
