Might get shouted down for this (because I... very much have my own style, to put it kindly 
) but if you're worried about heat, could fishnets not work?
Not the kind that are practically string but I used to love a pair of small/patterned fishnets to hide my legs on a night out if I hadn't shaved
Other than that, I'd say wear it if you want. We've had a year of lockdown. Society can handle whatever aesthetics we want to create
