Fouz isn’t full Kuwaiti either her mother is Iraqi. Fouz wasn’t travelling because of the whole money laundering situation which Im sure has been dropped by now. I think her husband doesn’t want her flying around or working abroad anymore. Fouz was literally always hopping from city to city. She has a new born now and I doubt her husband would allow her to just leave him and travel abroad.
That's not true. Many Kuwait influencers had these same money laundering charges at the same time and they later traveled jet-setted 24/7. Also, Fouz's money laundering charges were dropped a long time ago around the same time as Dana Tuwarish, Yaqoub Boushheri, 3bodka, and Jamal al najadah.
Yeah you're right about her husband and newborn baby, many people here don't seem to understand how conservative and family-oriented Kuwaitis are. We have family gatherings every week (zwara). Close family relations are a big part of our culture. Maybe Fouz traveled on brief vacations but doesn't feel the need to show off her private life 24/7 now that she is married. There are boundaries. Fouz is from a relatively 'socially conservative' upper middle class family, her parents didn't allow her to study university abroad she studied university at a local private university in Kuwait (GUST) in the late mid-to-late 2000s. She cares about her reputation locally in society. Dont be fooled by her clothes, many Kuwaiti girls are from socially conservative families but dress "Western" /don't wear hijab. Most women of the Al Sabah ruling family are like that. At the end of the day, Kuwait is a conservative society we don't accept married women jetting off 24/7 with responsibilities / little newborn babies they gave birth to recently. This isn't part of our culture and traditions. In the Kuwaiti culture, married women who behave that way are viewed as shady there will be many escort rumors about them.
About Fouz being 'half Iraqi', I haven't seen credible evidence and her mom's accent/dialect sounds Kuwaiti (and southern Iraqi) but there is a lot of overlap between the Kuwaiti and southern Iraqi dialect/accent. I have never seen Fouz identify herself as half Iraqi. Its interesting these people identify themselves as. Rawan always says she is half Jordanian/Palestinian and doesn't culturally identify with her Kuwaiti side. She doesn't speak Kuwaiti anymore. She doesn't have Kuwaiti friends anymore.
Anyway to clarify one point, Fatma Al Momen being half Saudi doesn't change much I just wanted to provide a context about Fatma's family upbringing. She is not from one of those liberal secular-like westernized kuwaiti families. Fatma has many Kuwaiti relatives who started wearing the hijab since the age of 9 because they're religious Shia. Her mom is always covered in black abaya 3ala al ras even at the local co-op jam3iya. Her mom's Saudi background is religious. Her dad's family is also religious.
