Ya this Shaikha girl is definitely not Bahraini. Her accent is all over the place and one minute she's trying to sound SO m7aregi (iykyk) and other times it's off. While there are british schools in the gulf most of us speak Americanized English. Even if one were to attend a British school you wouldn't necessarily speak like a native.

I feel like cultural appropriation of Arabs needs to be discussed even regular girls I know who move to the Gulf, forget their culture and appropriate the culture hiding any trace of their ethnicity (seems to be Pakistanis and other Asians). What's wrong with being from wherever you are from? There's beauty in diversity and beauty in all ethnicities!

The cultural appropriation of Arabs is something people are not ready to talk about yet, I’m noticing kylie jenner get happy with the haifa wehbe comparisons now she’s abandoned the Latina look and is trying to look arab. For time, and literally I mean TIME. Arab women have been culturally appropriated, whether that’s through non Arabs emulating our look through makeup, fashion, cultural wear etc. I remember growing up in London post 9/11 it was literally a struggle, when I told people I was a Iraqi the first thing is “how’s the war” but after the influx or Arabs vacationing/studying in London and after the rise of arab social media people all of a sudden want to adopt our culture and styles like their own, when only 10 years ago we were shunned lol??? Am I missing something??? People who pretend to have arab lineage or abandon their culture because of “arab superiority complex” (when they are so fragile something as simple as being arab breaks them lol ok) I truly pity them. As I’ve commented on other threads, there is literally nothing special about being arab. Life would be so so easier if people were comfortable in their own fkin skin.

Absolutely spot on.
Growing up as a teenager after 9/11 in a predominantly white English school you were ignored even though you had the same capabilities. Just we did not align with their colouring. Now everyone wants to look like us. Strange right.
I also felt Kim Kardashian copied Maya Diab.

Any tea on Jelenabindrai? Yugoslavian (well former Yugoslavia) model type, Melania Trump style gold digger vibes. Strange that she’d take her Emirati husband’s family name as it’s not the done thing I thought? Husband looks really dignified and classy and she looks like a stony faced try hard. Making out she’s into Khaleeji culture but on her pic she’s drinking Arabic coffee with her left hand oops
Never heard of her but just had a look and compared to some of the other foreign wives of Emiratis she looks pretty quiet/normal/calm to me. Plus she's a mother which is why she might be 'stony faced.' Probably exhausted. Also when kids are in the picture it's quite common for the mum to adopt some cultural practices of the husband just for some cultural cohesion in the home. SHe might not get it right (eg left hand) but I give credit to those who make an effort.

Her mom is Saudi?

Has anyone noticed that Dima and Rania never feature in each other’s posts/stories anymore? I wonder if there has been a rift between them. They used to be so close!

she’s is always saying my family is from jeddah and wearing clothes with saudi on it and stayed with relatives years ago ans was calling them her brother and sister. her mom is possibly a quarter saudi or only through marrying a saudi at some point but Tamaras father is not saudi. he is serbian which she hides and everyone knows she she has a british passport not a saudi one so how does that work?

she now says she’s from Riyadh and hangs out with saudi girls. she can’t speak a word of arabic and plays this i’m super into my religion etc angel routine. this is all garbage. people knew her in high school and she always said her mom was british but likely had some arab blood which at some point there was even an arabic article in a magazine about her when she just started blogging where she said her mom was British sudanese!! her mom died when she was teen and the habtoors helped her stay in high school but not making he pay tuition and also helped give her a flat for free which was why for the longest time she was up the a$$ of Mo. she even would call his younger brother her brother ans wanted people to believe she was somehow there sister! she has deep issues and continually lies about her background, her mother, her origins and wealth which is nothing.

she used to be literally blonde in high school. her natural hair color is light brown including eyebrows etc. she has purposefully changed her look in the last 3 years to cater to arab ansd mainly saudi followers as she wasn’t getting anywhere before. she dyes her hair and eyebrows black. has made them thicker and wears arabian style heavy makeup and eyeliner to try and look “ more” arab. see the difference

Her mom is Saudi?
if she is, she is half or quarter. her mother had a british passport same as tamara now. she doesn’t have saudi citizenship .

i am glad I am not the only one who knows this information! This is all straight facts. She is a leach on arab men! Also she is friends with anara who is another big big big hoe but keeps it low-key. Anara on and off dates Samir nasri the football player but in her spare time she has sex with ARABS for big money. There is like a team of girls that are all paid like this that’s why you see them with hermes and Richard Mille when they can’t even buy themselves or their family their own house ....
she’s a liar since the day she got here saying in an interview she interned with the owner of Wynn resort casino and hotels in Vegas. she was 19 and sleeping with him and he was 30 years older than her. she never worked for him. then she claims she just got famous producing the Keeping with. she never got an education and only helped “produce” that show again because she was sleeping with a guy who gave her the money to invest in his behalf because he thought it might flop and didn’t want to be associated with it. funny enough it did well. and for that reason the kardashians always were kind and civil to her but by no means was she kim’s best friend! lol that’s a lie. she would hang around the restaurants they went to etc and just join their tables.trust me calabasis and malibu have a small social scene at that level. she came to the uae when she couldn’t get anywhere in the us as the kardashians wouldn’t help open any doors for her. so she starting stopping their names to get rich idiots to invite her and “ do business” with her. i should tell you the whole time she has lived here her rent has mostly been paid by men she has been th the mistress of including a kuwaiti married business man and now saudi.

Im saudi and I dont know this girls story. But from looking at her IG it clearly looks like she either grow up in Saudi or she lived there for a long time. It itches me when people get jealous about foreigners that come to live in their country, especially when they promote and contribute to it in a good way. There is never a middle, its always the extreme. If she walked the streets of Riyadh in body con dresses they would be upset and if she is wearing abaya as everyones else they would be upset because she is “trying to be saudi” Noone is saying that saudi influencers appropriate white people by coloring their natural jet black hair blond. Or every other saudi influencer wearing blue contacts to look whiter. Noone says that because we are in 2021.
Every other Saudi influencer are white teenagers wannabe. Dress, talk and act like them after spending a semester in American lol i can name a dozen.

Unless she clearly states that her father or mother have saudi passport and they dont, i dont have a problem with her. Is this the case for this girl or not?

Yes things were tough with 9/11 racism around the world for us. But i take it as a compliment when i see foreign people appreciating our culture and want to be like us. They ard not taking a piece of you for you be become offended and become hostile.

I appreciate seeing non muslims/non arab people cover up visiting our countries and try to learn our culture.

We spent so much time and effort for our culture to stop being misunderstood by the west. And when it’s finally starting to blossom and being appreciated by celebrities in the west, suddenly we become offended. Why not take it as a compliment

she never lived in Saudi till the last year of the pandemic! she has lived all her life since about 5 in the uae and that’s a fact. everyone in the uae knows her from high school and all the years after. in the past 3 years she was visiting jeddah on and off as she tried to pull off this idea she was saudi with her “ family” there when everyone knows she only has one sister living in the UK who is never acknowledged and her sister hates her because of all her lies so she has removed her from her life . i am not racist and it’s fine for people to show appreciation etc so i get what you are saying. but this is different she is purposefully lying to get more followers from Saudi for her influencer demographic and has continually maude up lies about her childhood to correlate with most saudi’s to create this story line so saudi girls will think she is like them and therefore more followers and supporters means more deals and sponsored ads. i call this a kind of fraud and it isn’t ok.

I don't get offended if westerners appreciate our looks or taste in perfume etc or respect our culture when they visit and wear abaya occasionally etc but i know girls who literally wipe out their ethnicity and culture and completely wipe away any aspect of their culture after living in an arab country from music, what they wear, writing in arabic in order to be mistaken for Arab, that is too much. appreciation of culture is fine but fully appropriating it is not cool.

i don’t think “jealous” is the right word for this sentiment bc i promise u normal people aren’t jealous of trivial things like that. annoyed/offended, yes. there’s a difference between assimilating and appropriating, Of course when moving to a conservative Muslim country you’re going to adapt and adhere to the culture, wearing the clothes, learning the language, etc. That’s great! i love that. but don’t claim the nationality. The issue is that often times horrible people try to pass as us and poorly represent us. Kuwaitis for example, we have to deal with the likes of SoniaxFyza representing us even tho they’re British. Every time these escorts/girls do something sketchy and harmful the comments are always “they’re kuwaiti!” 😒 it’s so annoying bc there’s only 1.5 million of us and that’s what social media correlates to us. Same for Bahrainis. That British girl who abandoned her child is front and center of snapchat explore page representing Bahrain. i know the Bahraini girlies hate it. I understand that there are asshole khaleejis that look down on South Asians or Eastern Europeans but why would u want to erase your identity to appease them? The girls i mentioned could’ve stayed home in the UK but they chose to pack their bags and move to the GCC to cosplay as us and erase their background, ultimately implying that Pakistanis, Eastern Europeans, etc are not good enough when that couldn’t be further from the truth.
