Elle has had lots of criticism this week when she asked people to stop posting about the election. It's the first time she's really been criticised abbr she did not like it one bit. They're all lovely until they're questioned about their morals

Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.

Sounds like Anna! The timed Sunday morning tantrum and meltdown. Weekly outbursts of emotions and several crying episodes each week all whilst husband and live in nanny are looking after the kids then cleaner comes in and cleans the house, laundry and ironing and Anna is enjoying a free yoga class and walk with a mate with coffee. But then the constant need for adoration from her fans urges her to post a crying teary eyed selfish gagging for love.

Oh there we goo.. so predictable!! I mean we are only on the second day of the week and she already had a tantrum yesterday posting a crying face selfie. She had a meltdown on Sunday and needed to go for waffles before the day was ruined. I think she seriously needs help and intervention. This is not healthy for a therapist!!

I feel she has Brene Brown aspirations with about .5% of the breadth of knowledge/life experience. Like a Poundland Brene.

Another day another meltdown.. incoming self care walk as expected lol. We have seen your blotched face more times than our own. You literally have selfies on your feed with tears and smudged makeup... What a self obsessed narcissistic person thinks oh I'm crying so let me take a selfie and start recording myself for my potential clients. Way to make money!! 💰💰💰💰
Have some self respect Anna!

Bore off Anna, enjoy a day with your family, or don’t, if you’re not up to it, but don’t offload all your negativity online everyday

she claims on her website she’s a member of the BACP. They are super strict so might be worth contacting them? My mum is a psychotherapist and is a BACP member... she got so stressed about meeting all of their regulations that she just came off social media altogether! So I can’t imagine they’d be too happy with a huge public Instagram account with a massive following!!

I honestly don’t understand how such contrived photos and stories about ones personal life can be viewed as ethical in the psychotherapy world.

surely there needs to be boundaries?

My sister is a psychologist and has a few psychotherapist friends, yes it’s the BACP and it’s true, they are really strict. My sister’s friends have made their names really difficult to find on their social media accounts, if they have them. I wouldn’t want to go and see my GP or any health professional having watched their complaints about their partner, how they lost their car keys, slipped in the shower, cried and dumped things around the house to make it all look more relatable and authentic before being late for the nanny. 😬

She also constantly conflates psychology and psychotherapy. Anna is a psychotherapist. Not a psychologist. There are some amazing amazing books on Amazon for less than a tenner written by a multitude of fully qualified psychologists (harder to qualify into requiring more skills than psychotherapists) and drs. Anna sits at her desk whilst her hidden nanny sees to her kids and house and churns out stuff very easily found on Google searches relating to anxiety. She then flogs these cut and paste jobs for a small fortune. Absolutely unethical and exploitative. She really should do a post explaining the real differences between psychotherapists and psychologists, I suspect many of her intended course audience would benefit from an actual psychologist.

So true! My sister is a psychologist, the training is far more intensive and rigorous. A real psychologist wouldn’t wouldn’t be using these unethical practices for fear of being struck off or something severe at least by the BPS. Most people don’t know the difference in training so if you can get away with calling yourself a slightly higher profession why not (by Anna’s reckoning)

Just gone back to her page after I unfollowed about a year ago. I remembered instantly why I unfollowed. Her whole life is one big dramatic show. These Instagram influencers are so bizarre. Can you imagine living with someone that talks to their phone constantly and tells strangers the most pointless stories. I find it so weird 😂

Did she not get locked out last week too? It's something she does at least once a month. She smashed the car this week, then locked herself out today, last week she was chasing the cat all around the estate for the vet appointment. She is a fucking crazy lady! I wonder what her neighbours think of her? Oh Anna the therapist who is running around the estate all the time!

Is her latest post a dig at tattle when we said she is always moaning so lately she has been treasuring lovely moments and remembering them when she feels negative? Are we giving her content now for her feed?

I feel that Anna is one of those people who can write long essays about everything. She is one of those who need thousands of words to explain one thing hence she has been able to write a book, 2 courses and a podcast and they all explain one concept I.e. self love and self worth. She doesn't divert from this topic or speak about anything else.

Also is it not a bit extreme Anna to declare that people can change their lives if they read your book? So Anna thinks her book is life changing for people? So much confidence and arrogance for someone who allegedly suffers from anxiety!! If only it was this easy to change your entire life completely.... She is so out of touch from reality!

"Whilst I might not always read them" Anna talking about her book reviews on that screenshot. Bit rude isn't it? Authors with new books out beg for reviews so that other people buy them but then admit they don't read them themselves?

She definitely has. I really don't like instagrammers who make money from others misfortunes or mental health. Yes she does it for living. Actually does she still have clients? I dont think I could be a client of hers with her face on Instagram so much
