Hey everyone, (or should I say hello My DeAr eLegAnT LaDiEs?)
Happy New Year's to everyone! Hope your are all well! :giggle:
It took me a long time to finally catch up with all the threads. I want to thank you for all the time and research you've put into exposing Anna Bay/Aija Raty. I came across Anna's content few months ago and I was always wondering about her partner. I went on google hoping to find something and I found your threads. So thank you. I'm not a fan or anything, I watched some of her videos because youtube recommended her tbh but after I saw she was on different articles and on tv I was wondering what kind of man would allow his SO to broadcast these things.
Anyway the reason I decided to jump in, is to comment on her marketing skills. I'm in marketing and I had to say that even her marketing techniques feel lazy. Like when she was promoting her online 'course' and was spamming with emails but then she was gone for a while, and now it's an email there and now. Even her youtube channel is monetised well. She could be making a lot more than what she makes now ( this is based on the social blade screenshot from earlier ). About her instagram, I can tell you this, what counts nowadays isn't your followers count nor your likes, but your reach, engagement & on brand vibe. I don't understand any brand that would want to collab with someone like Anna because her message isn't something brands would usually want to associate with.
A little side not, when youtube recommends you someone's channel it isn't because they paid, it's because of the algorithm. It's based on what other people that have similar interests seem to enjoy on youtube. When someone pays youtube to recommend their videos, the promoted video states it's an ad underneath the title. Just a little note because I remember someone said she might have paid to be recommended. I haven't seen her put any ads on youtube so I don't know if she did.
Hope I didn't bore you and my english are understandable
When I've heard about paying to be recommended in regards to the recommendation algorithm on YouTube it's related to getting traffic from established and therefore "trusted" media :) Otherwise it would show up in the same fashion as an ad getting pushed to YT like those insurance ads, Wix or grammarly :)

Though I can agree with her marketing seeming very lazy, and not very well planned, but that is something applicable to her as a person as well :p

I hope 2021 is kind to everyone, I will be going back to a food and alcohol induced coma.

I like when new members chime in, I have a feeling for every one who comments there are many more silently reading which means that we are successful in exposing this scammer. Even if she decides to change her name, rebrand, etc. there is living proof in these threads and screenshots of her lies and the many different skins she's worn so far.

I think this is wider than just marketing, and symptomatic of our current culture. We are obsessed with celebrity, toxic beauty standards, and women of course have always loved coaches who tell them they are worthless (while selling them the cure!).

As I've said before, I am around Anna's age. When I was at uni, it was for example my friend who was reading 300 page self help books on how to 'get the guy'. Books like The Rules, Men Love witches, etc. All have preyed on women and our wanting a better life and relationships.

Anna/Aija would not have thrived if there weren't so many desperate women looking for the answer to our modern problems. If I were to break it down,

30 % women fed up of feminism and realising the 50/50 model degrades their worth
30 % women who have not achieved much and want a prince or rich man to rescue them
30 % genuine clueless biddies like New Rose Glow, lacking in confidence and need a virtual big sister to slap them around and tell them what to do (despite having successful careers and finances of their own)

What do you girls think?

I agree with you re the categories, and may I just say I'm loving this sociologist hat on you @laurensanchez! Your other posts are witty and contribute a lot, but this insight resonated with me for sure.

Since when is a 😉 equal to angry?
You‘ve got your heart on the right spot though, since being greeted as Ajia qualifies for you as an insult
Good luck with your style!
A ;) is not equal to angry yes, but a  is equal to angry, which is the emoji you used to classify my post with. I don't mind it or anything, I'm just unsure about why what I said would anger you (and the other one too).

Of course calling me "Ajia" is an insult from you, since that's the name (?) of this girl / woman that you lot are insulting here. Again, it's not like I care if you insult her, but I did nothing to warrant that.

If that's an honest wish, thank you.

I started looking at fashion bloggers as examples to get a grasp on what's acceptable today, without losing much time over it. It's true I don't have a big sister, I see no appeal in dressing in my mother's clothes and teen / early 20s fashion is unnaceptable as office-wear.

I don't like this woman's message and that's why I dropped her videos, but I didn't know that coming here saying such and asking a question only minimally related would warrant such strong negative feelings about it. :(

I agree on that. The 50/50 lifestyle doesn't always work and women get fed up while juggling a job, the kids and the household. I understand why unhappy women flock to Aijas videos where she talks about men being unfair. Of course her solution (= he should pay for everything) is not the solution to the problem and the fact that it's still women who do the majority of "unseen work" like caring for children or elderly parents - on top of everything else that is going on in their lifes like wanting a career.

Then there is the princess who is rescued by the prince and lives happily ever after in his castle. I don't think this should be a life goal but it is surely nice if it happens?

I feel sorry for girls like NRG and sincerely hope that they are able to find their tribe of women who are smart, strong and yes - elegant if that's what they want to be - all without being ripped of by someone who's teachings are mostly smoke and mirrors.

Maybe 2021 will be the year where even Aija is cooling down a bit, getting more honest about what she can and what she cannot do. She was clearly not in a happy place the past few months and it's showing.

And I hope YOU guys are having a great and healthy 2021!!

You guys are starting 2021 too sensitive. Chill out.
(And why do I sense Aija's laughing over all the small attempts of confrontation?)

About russian bloggers, I think it's best to do what the flamboyant queen used to do: Stalk russian JSB's on IG.

Low self-esteem is the key for the success of these so called gurus. But again, the way society is structured helps to "search" for outside answers while, most of the time, the solutions are within. It's takes time and maturity to realize this.

It's getting painfully blantant how Aija craves for fame. Her small footage of running in the sand towards the sea made my stomach twirl. Oh, and that screenshot of her dancing (her days in Colombia)... There's something really off indeed.

Last but not least, "spend more time in nature" is not about hugging trees, but travelling way more. That "conscious resolution" was just a way to sweeten her selfish ways and make her appear a good role model. Image, image, image...

I think about that often when I hear about minimalism and consumerism. When I was younger I often went shopping for cosmetics or clothes when I did not feel good or - when I was stuck in my creative practice - I bought new pencils and brushes and thought that makes me a better artist. It's quite the same with designer goods or traveling to "instagramable" places... if you are not happy (of course no one is happy all the time but you know, the overall picture of your life should be a happy one) you can't fill the void with products and stuff (like expensive courses) or a glass of champagne in a fancy bar (sure, that's nice but only if you do it for you and not for the picture others have of you).

For someone's previous question on Russian fashion: I think it's more effective to just follow local Russian brands on instagram. 12storeez is a rather large one, but there are many smaller brands/individual designers.

What bothers me most about the IG and YT influencers is the promotion of unhealthy consumerism regardless of whether they actually can afford all the designer items, luxury cars, penthouses and private jets. Let’s face it, social media is a big lie. You can rent apartments and grounded jets for photo shoots and we as followers don’t know if the designer handbag collections are real or fake. Let’s not forget facetune and other apps to change your appearance. Some of the IG models look like aliens with their incredibly long legs and the proportions of their bodies are not humanly possible. It’s all camera angles and facetune.

With all her questionable choices and teachings and lack of culture Anna is refreshingly honest when it comes to her surroundings. You can see that she shoots in hotels and in her Ikea closet and she shows only few luxury items. I find her way more relatable than Lauren Amiri, Ann Andres and the like. I didn’t follow her in her JSB days when she was according to many more likable and is now on a wrong track.

Anyone who loves nature would not contribute to our planet's decline by extreme travel. The amount of miles she's flown (carbon offset where?) in a pandemic would put paid to that lie immediately.

Also how can she love nature but hate animals so much? Instead of embracing the beautiful lizards she complains like a spoiled brat while in a 5 star resort? Not elegant at all.

By the way, who is the Daily Mail person who writes about her? I want to compile a dossier including her hotel backdrops and have them expose her.

The DM is great as they will do their own investigation and probably have someone in Geneva investigate. The only thing they love more than controversial content is an "exposed" type story

They will turn on Aija in a minute!

Omg, imagine being on relaxing and nice holidays but having to eat a banana with cutlery. I'd lose all the appetite until I've peeled it. Do they really think it makes them more attractive or that a member of the British aristocracy will fall in love with them immediately?

They take all this "fake it till you make it" way too far, it's already unhealthy.

Hi Dear!

Welcome here, and although I am posting rarely, I am reading here several times a day and so I feel entitled to certify you as no Aija for sure :D the reason one or other members have designated you as such is that from time to time new profiles here are arising with seemingly no contribution, but with nonrelevant post. You have placed a cryptic\unclear message with a request for other people to follow up to. You said you like the Russia and their fashion, but you could have indicated what makes you fascinated with their perception of style, apart from your travel experience: I guess they are more flamboyant, they dress up for everyday - even I got some Russian bug LOL, so I get you [ I like the Russian aspect of exageration myself- and how tuthful they are to their true emotions- though I hate their lack of smile {they consider smiling person as a drunk or a craze}] but in your intro, you could have added some more background of your experience with her, what made you watch her first videos and what made you discover the fraud, and leads you into what you are seeking for your true self.
Plus, if you want more justification -the harsh reaction you got happened when most of healthy society members are hungover=vulnerable +ennoyed. Welcome to 1st of January!

In my perception this one is most interesting and valuable forum I have ever been part of- you will meet women who have evidently made it, either married or successful sugar babes, intelligent contributors, career ladies who are a good catch (but have no compromise) and otherwise- any other character who is happy in own terms as a member of high society or well enough, successful in their own lives or terms tend to write here. This makes this thread special and if you want to write here, you need to put more effort than when writing anywhere else on the internet ;-) I just learned here how to improve dramatically my skin, how not to dress, how to be myself, plus I love reading from people whom I would love to have as friends in my real life:
@laurensanchez - as someone called you the badass - I love your comments and I love you for your audaciousness
@Cherryberry- such a deep insights
@Birdseed2 - also incredibly widly intelligent human
@schokolade -girl who is so true to herself (apart from russiophilia I suffer from germanophilia)
@SchoolOfAffluenceIsAScam - laughed at so many of your posts! I guess you are busy with studies or school but I want to say I am a scandinaviophil apart from russiophil and germanophil, and englophil .. and many more other cultures LOL"
@Alexis19 thanks to whom I got a nearly perfect skin (who is a succesful PR person [my learned profession]- in my next life I would love to be her hah!
@itsverynice with her super-so many interesting insights - I feel you are true gentle high-society lady I would love to have many teas with!

..and so many more members whom I could have omitted - who also made me laugh and realized so many important things.. I thank you all although I didn't mention your name there of top of my head.

I have been more true to myself and accepted here with all my opinions, than anywhere else on the internet- never got trolled or answered rudely back! I have shared maybe relatively little but I shared opinions I wouldn't with my real-life friends, therefore I consider you my soul friends! I think of your opinions highly- which I take to my heart, and thanks to you I improved my life genuinely!

I wish you all Happy New Year and thank you all to my daily entertainment.

Maybe I talk about Miss A too little as I consider her of too little importance and realistically boring as related to real concerns of women involved in authentic high worth relationship or career (although I ackgnowledge and respect that this thread is based on her)

Speaking of jet set, yesterday Anna was advertising that Seychelles is way better than Maldives. But why? No one asked.
However, guess who is in Maldives now?
Olesya Malinskaya, Anna’s longterm jetsetbabe obsession.
Sensing someone’s bitter 😂

View attachment 363700

If I didn't know her real age, I would guess 45 in this picture.
Like someone said earlier, she seems to think she's younger and way attractive on the jet set market, but she is not at all.
Flashing her diamond ring, bracelet (she said before her bf bought it for her), and watch on this picture is so staged.
Can't she enjoy a nice swim for a change instead of only obsessing about posing.
She must be exhausted from all that fakeness and it shows in her face.
I know our star took some tips to use spanx from that book about southern charm by Patricia someone- but spanx makes your makeup and face sweaty. I am not in business of reffering of anything to anyone, but next time Aija, realise it's Leonisa not Spanx. Spanx is for beginners. Leonisa is for profis. It may save you some indulgence on breakfast (I have a tendency towards bulging waist so I understand)

Hi!

I saw her in a reddit rec list for good bloggers to follow. I watched four or five videos and she sounds obnoxious, so I googled her and got here (and some other places). Reading diagonally, it confirmed that she's a fraud. (y)

I asked for russian bloggers because I visited those two cities (SP and Moscow) last year and loved them a lot! So I wouldn't mind following bloggers from there, since bloggers usually do vlogs on the city they live in.

As for old russian glamour, I kind of enjoy old fashioned clothing with a modern twist. I also like old french glamour and old italian glamour. I've no idea if that's a good way to describe them.

Yes, drunk posting is a good excuse! :ROFLMAO: Thank you for your kind answer!

The difference is those ladies you mentioned are actually rich and don't have to pretend like Aija.
These ladies are rich but they are part of the problem of flex culture that gives wrong ideas to young women who go and buy Anna/Aija’s courses. When you ask young people what they want be their answer is celebrities and influencers. Why go to college and study if you can become an influencer or marry a rich guy. The only one I like is @aboutchristellestyle in IG because she is so over the top.

Your posts are a bit weird and that's all I will say. I don't see what you are asking for advice for since clearly you are a supporter of the Anna type. Better you go buy her course instead of asking us, since you are the type to eat fruit with cutlery-something I can say none of us here on planet Earth do.

There are several forums and groups you can go to, it boggles the mind when people come on here with off topic posts, I understand why some posters would conclude it's to run interference and deflect from the thread topic - Anna the fraud.

Please don't clog up the thread by responding to me either, I will be enabling the ignore feature.

I presume he’s catholic. Not because she has ever said it but if he were orthodox or Muslim I feel she would have slipped that information out without realising. The fact she hasn’t makes me think he’s catholic. Just gut instinct, no evidence to support my proposal.

He’s Lebanese, right? I wonder from which area.
From his accent I am guessing he is a primarily Arabic speaker (not French) and his family may not speak English which can be tough.

He seemed quite reasonable in the video she showed of him in Italy. I was truly impressed.
One of my best friends is catholic Lebanese and he reminded me of him. His parents only speak Arabic or French (very very limited English) so he only introduces his parents to people who can communicate with them beyond “hi”.
Where is the video of him in italy she showed?

Where did I give "Aija" vibes in my post, where I say this "Aija" woman is not that good and that this thread confirms it, plus by making a request on russian fashion bloggers because I like two russian cities?

Every hotel I've been to has fruit cut up already, so ofcourse it must be eaten with cuttlery. I don't know what's up with her conclusion.
