I don't even think Gossip Girl is a great example either. A bunch of spoiled brats that use NY as their playground and dismiss those who are not at the same level. Not to mention the constant concern with image. I can only find it entertaining.
I agree with the mindset of keeping a small circle and making friends with people who think and act similarly, but that doesn't mean keeping a closed severe mind with an eye focused only in benefits and discarding people just because they don't serve you. I'm humanly human.

Me myself packs one carry-on for most of my 2-3 week trips (for vacation or for work)... I don't know how to comment on this...
Packing heavily just feels so amateur-like instead of "high-society"-like...
But to be honest, I once saw in first-class check-in (flight from NYC to Doha) some Middle East families bringing stacks of Louis Vuitton travel trunks--- not the luggages with wheels, the wooden travel trunks without wheels.
It was a shocking moment for me. The first time I found the LV monogram to exude the beauty of tradition and delicacy.

Those are the ultimate luxuries Louis Vuitton produces and they are too much of niche products to have counterfeits. But I doubt you can afford them

I've never really been into LV monogram, but the more it gets hated on by influencers, the more I get on board with the idea of finding a vintage Alma or Speedy and living my Audrey Hepburn dreams (unfortunately the counterfeiters are too strong)

While I find the thought of her packing her own furniture and decor for the hotel, I doubt it's the case since sending it by mail or having a crew arrive before to set it up would be much more sensible, but then she also choose to pack so much for such a short stay so I doubt I can apply my "common sense" to her thinking...
