The worst is that her minions find it totally normal that she is traveling around bragging about beaches, spas etc or criticing something that is not great enough for madame while themselves are probably stuck somewhere.

At the moment these island destinations who rely heavily on tourism are doing what they can to get people out there, some offering incentives to go and lower prices than normal times. Also most of Europe is heading into some form of lockdown now or just after Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised if she did show up in the Maldives in January for a few months (I read they are doing work from there packages to try and boost their economy, so you can rent a cheap room/hotel) to escape the European lockdowns that are ahead.
Honestly, I’m pretty disgusted. We cancelled our far-flung beach holiday because there’s a little thing called a global pandemic going on and we didn’t want to put ourselves or others at risk. If I had the level of influence Ratty does to her elegant ladies in training, I would feel a sense of responsibility. But hey, maybe Ratty is too elegant for responsibility. That’ll be level 72894 of her course (when you’ve given away all your earthly possessions and you too only own a lamp, a photo frame, a replica oil painting, a smize and a passport. It’s all about the flexibility dear ladies! You need to be flexible! Don’t interpret me literally!). Surely a nice Christmas with Joseph and Lina would have been better?
I can't believe I even felt sorry for her. I mean, I despised her content and her persona, but I did have a bit of empathy for her because of the rumours with her boyfriend - if it's true, how sad and unhappy she must be to stay in such relationship, and how mentally unwell to sell herself just for an upper middle class lifestyle.
Having said that, I don't feel sorry for her AT ALL anymore, she doesn't deserve it. She's a cold, calculating and very selfish person. Tropical holidays in the middle of the pandemic that she boasts on her social platforms and seems proud of! Absolute lack of critical thinking and ability to see further than the end of her nose.
I think I could even understand if she went to Sweden to spend Christmas with her family that she hasn't seen for a long time, but holidays? On the other continent? That she could do any other time and it really doesn't have to be now???

Travels non-stop in the middle of a pandemic, fools around playing charitable, constantly spitting negativeness in her speech... Deceit is her mother tongue. All Europe is basically in lockdown people spend their Christmas home with their families because that the most valuable thing now there is after this year yet this mor*** does this. They perceive their lives as miserable. They want the fairytales, a life with no concerns and struggles, with the reality of grabing everything without having to choose.
I have a hard time believing one can achieve this kind of life without at least making real effort.
Well me too especially nowadays its just beyond my understanding how naive people can be. Its sad. Really sad.
