A little further afield is the British Museum. In Covent Garden, by that ice cream shop, is the transport museum. All very kid friendly, totally free and consistently regarded as among the best in the world.

it’s not all stuffiness and boring. Kids absolutely love the NHM, especially the dinosaur section. Maybe I’m bias, but I love museums and just learning new things in general. I guess when you’re as vapid, shallow and unintelligent as Laura Anne then museums don’t have much to offer you.
im no Kate mid mega fan, but if she was put in a room with LA she’d find her a bland, boring and probably very weird person. For all her flaws, Kate is well educated, has an interest in the arts (specifically art and photography) and is a musician. She’s a patron of the NHM for gods sake.

No I agree. But the royals chose their patronages to reflect their genuine interests. She’s well known to have a keen interest in photography, that’s why she’s a patron of the npg and she takes the officially released portraits of her kids. How bad or good she is at it is kinda irrelevant. At least she has demonstrable hobbies and interests.
I agree she’s a bit of a lacklustre woman who just struck gold with a rich hobby, but I think that’s where her similarity with Laura Anne ends tbh. Cut from the same cloth though for sure.
