In a Michelin starred restaurant? I could! Would you spend £125 on a head of highlights? I’m all for treating myself when I can! I’m surprised it’s only 75 quid for 5 courses actually!Just looked up "Blank", £75 for the 5 course tasting menu and another £50 for the wine pairing. £125 for 1 person. We are by no means living on the bread line, and I'm very thankful for that, but I never could justify spending that sort of money for dinner for just me![]()
We'll agree to disagree there and I'm sure I won't be alone. I also could never justify spending that on highlights! In a Michelin starred restaurant? I could! £125 is not a lot of money these days for a Michelin star mealJust looked up "Blank", £75 for the 5 course tasting menu and another £50 for the wine pairing. £125 for 1 person. Ah you’re right - it’s just been mentioned in the Michelin Guide, apologiesThing is blank isn’t a Michelin star. I’d give it a 6/10 for the time I visited. Left a lot wanting. And partial to handing out a freebie so never returned.
In Northern Ireland prep schools are only part funded by fees, they still receive government funding. There’s only 1 full private school in Northern Ireland- Rockport. Their fees are astronomicalThat’s actually cheap! I work in a private school and it’s £16.5k for that age group per annum and hits £18k by the time they reach year 5!
Have you any idea on what rockports fees are?In Northern Ireland prep schools are only part funded by fees, they still receive government funding. There’s only 1 full private school in Northern Ireland- Rockport. Their fees are astronomical
I would spend that, and there are a lot of courses, so one probably does get enough food, but I sure hope she didn’t drive home after all that wine!I definitely wouldn’t pay £125 to still be hungry when I leave!…jaysus those portions are ridic!![]()
I think as a day pupil about £21k per year, about £30k if boarding. Pricey enoughHave you any idea on what rockports fees are?
For first form?
