I shouldn't laugh but her neighbours cutting her overgrown hedge without consulting her meaning she is thrown into a mission to find an aesthetically pleasing alternative has really cheered me up.
For heavens sake, the world's on fire. Read the room.

I’m sorry but even if Michelangelo came back from the dead she still wouldn’t be happy with the end result!!

So much for the amazing reliable female decorator🙄 I never use F&B paint as I’m sure anyone who knows even the smallest bit about interior knows as their paint is totally thin and shit.

Classic Alice. 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah not quite a perfectionist really .. she can’t even be bothered cleaning . It’s all about appearing to live a certain type of life .

And how has life been so hard for her recently ? She lives in Cornwall , husband is working and she is working and her kids are happy and healthy and she manages to do what she like to her home . She needs to check herself .

Is she ever fucking happy with anything?

I don't think I've ever seen her write or say 'oh I got this/decorated it like this/moved things around and I love it'. There's always something.

And I don't just mean today's cupboard chat Alice, I mean all the time, with every little thing. It must be so draining.

Absolutely thrilled with her Finisterre changing robe by the sounds of it 🥲 Wouldn’t you at least try and sound slightly enthused? £140 of freebie and barely an attempt to explain it.

She says she has anxiety and depression which she no longer medicates for. I can understand up to a point, I have the same and life is a struggle but I keep on keeping on and I smile and I make fun of my condition.
I just get the feeling that her constant messing around with her environment, the disappointments, never being content must be so draining for her family.

Passive aggressive alice is out today, if you’ve already reserved a tv why are you still going on about it?

Why is she even sharing this kitchen planning content? She’s asking for people’s views and then saying no, no, that doesn’t work, don’t even try and suggest that, nope.

JUST MAKE A PLAN AND DO IT!

Oh and p.s those carousel things are cleverly designed for this exact solution and are such a space saver. Get off your fucking homemade wooden high horse

I’m already looking forward to the people fucking up the floor refinishing at the house while she’s away. Or it won’t be done at all. You just know there’s going to be drama.
I’m also predicting she’ll whine about how hot it is in France in August in a van.

I do my own painting. Sometimes my filling isn’t perfect and sometimes I make small mistakes. I’ll get cross with myself for the paint job not being perfect. But I put the furniture, artworks and curtains back and… completely forget the paintwork isn’t 100% perfect.

What I’d never do is sand a room back to plaster to rectify small mistakes, particularly a child’s room as I’ve found them to be very hard on walls. Besides, plastering, sanding and painting is extremely disruptive and messy.

I know Alice has invested money in the room being professionally decorated but sometimes you need to LET THINGS GO, if only for your own mental health.

Christ that podcast is awful. The sounds of her munching were enough to put me off.
It’s such a middle class virtue signalling amount of crap. Laughing at being on a sustainability ethically sourced promoting Podcast when we know she gets her Christmas decorations she sells from a local DIY store 🤣

I find it strange that she's ripped the house apart yet hasn't taken the opportunity to install central heating? Also she makes out they're on a tight budget yet they have no mortgage (long suffering Stu's parents paid it off) and it's highly unlikely she pays rent to her parents for her shop. Where exactly does all their income go?

She's been reading here and got her knickers in a right twist 🤣
i just had to go view her stories and god can she not read them back and look at what an entitled cow she sounds like?

I HAVE SO MANY THINGS TO CREATE FALSE SENSES OF REALITY BUT I DO NOT WANT THESE THINGS OUT BUT I DONT WANT THEM AWAY I WANT THEM IN FRONT OF ME BUT HIDDEN

also IKEA OUT OF STOCK

also WHINGE ABOUT MY HUSBAND

so glad I unfollowed her. she should feel lucky she’s got a lovely space in a beautiful part of the world

reason no 127585 why Instagrammers shouldn’t paint a false facade that life is beautiful when it’s not

Interesting to see her opinions of this coffee machine. Seems a very expensive experiment for someone who only drinks decaf. As a coffee addict I can’t see the point but each to their own!

But it's Alice, she's never happy with anything. I'd have been more surprised if she said she was looking forward to it!
If nothing else it will give poor Stu a bit of a break when she escapes off to the beach. I bet he has a really garish pair of Speedo's he likes to wear which are off brand from her world of sludgy neutrals.

So this is amusing…… I saw she posted some pictures of Xmas decs last week that were ‘coming soon’ and thought I recognised them.

View attachment 820037

Turns out Alice is using the local DIY store in Cornwall called ‘Trago Mills’ to supply her store.

View attachment 820043

They are now online as she documented the other day she went up to her online packing company the other day, but no price is showing.

In TM single ones sell for 25p and a pack of ten were £2.10. Should imagine she is selling them for a lot more than that

Really got to admire her hustle haven’t you. So much for ethically sourced and curated!

Wonder how much else she buys there and re-sells?!?
she’s always bought a lot from Facebook market place and gumtree, got a lot free, and sold on for a very healthy markup. No flies on her there!
