I just watched that reel she posted and was totally thinking "Is ... is she sucking in her cheeks?" When her mouth is slightly open with the teeth showing, I swear, I can see she's sucking in the insides of her cheeks" to create the appearance of hollow cheekbones for the video.See, I have the opposite, I have a narrow in depth but wide forehead. Even my doctor kind of makes a joke about it when I go for my Botox. I wish I could wear beanies, but they just don’t suit me.
Anyway, I’ve tried in the past to give myself a face and neck massage in the last, like Alex does, but it I just does nothing for me
Is she sucking her cheeks in so much, her tongue is almost visible when she opens her mouth?!
The thing with Alex is though, she will deny absolutely everything because it seems so important to her to be regarded as naturally flawless and beautiful without any smoke and mirrors.
I think Alex desperately wanted to be supermodel-beautiful because she was around truly stunning models all the time as part of her job. I can imagine how being around those "freaks of nature" who are just exceptionally model-beautiful must give one a sense of inadequacy and I wonder if that really messed with her head. That's my theory. Have you seen a photo of Alex with Lily Rose Depp? Alex has clearly edited her face to look younger next to Lily Depp. It looks like Lily Depp may be filtered/smoothed out too but Alex's under-eye areas and her jawline are noticeably blurred/smoothed out and edited.
I also went through a rather long phase of giving myself a facial massage every evening - mostly due to Lisa Eldridge's advice, claiming her mother looked "amazing" in old age and she thinks it was her mother's daily routine of facial massage that kept her mother wrinkle-free and whilst I do believe it's good for lymphatic drainage and relaxation, seriously, I just didn't see any improvement in tone and there was no bloody "lifting effect" as companies like FaceGym will have you believe.See, I have the opposite, I have a narrow in depth but wide forehead. Licensed dermatologists and aestheticians I've seen on social media have also said facial massage is only good if you want to feel pampered and relaxed but it does nothing to make skin look more youthful. I will still massage my face sometimes just because it feels nice.
I really think Alex needs to switch up her video content. It really is becoming so repetitive and dull. The Sunday Facials are identical every week. Watching her do really corny, dreamy poses into the camera whilst sensually massaging her extremely edited face and finishing it with a wink and a pouting air kiss is getting so old. I noticed she hasn't grown her following much in the last couple of years either.
Instead of creating authentic, engaging content - really giving helpful skincare advice for all price points and skin types, she's decided to just make vanity reels every week. It looks like she's more concerned with looking as hot and ultra *sensual* as possible. She's always looking like she's trying to seduce a bloke off screen with throwing her head back, sensually rubbing her neck and squirting lotion on herself.
