Does she have body dysmorphia?
I definitely get that vibe from her xI know people who have worked with her who said she is awful.
If you're referring to Alex, I strongly suspect so. The extreme filtering is definitely symptomatic of body dysmorphia and for that, I do feel pity for Alex. Two decades of working in the beauty and fashion industry and being around extremely skinny, beautiful under-25 models is bound to stir feelings of inadequacy in most women. From the way Alex tries to pose in her IG videos, the air kisses, the pouting, the smouldering looks, the shameless Zoolander 'blue steel' posing - it feels like what she really wanted to be in life was a model. I strongly have this feeling she once longed to be a model or just someone known for their exceptional beauty. She mentioned once that she had really admired the 90s supermodels but knew that with her tendency to gain weight easily, it was not a possibility but at least she could always enjoy make up and participate in the beauty scene in that way. I saw Alex pose for a side-by-side selfie with model, Rosie Huntington-Whitely once in one of their IG stories and my gosh, poor Alex was fighting for her life, contorting her face, lifting her chin up as far as it would go, pouting her lips, as to not be too outshone by Rosie. Maybe I'd do the same, being photographed next to a model. Although, I thought Alex looked great with this 'lob' haircut in this YouTube interview with Rosie from 2016.Does she have body dysmorphia?
The idea of an intervention being needed crossed my mind too. Interestingly, I discovered that one of Alex's friends, Delphine AKA @coffeeandbeauty on IG - a former Beauty Director at InStyle magazine posted a video back in April 2022, speaks out against the excessive use of beauty filters and the damaging message it sends to girls and women; that we're not enough. She really needs to step away from the industry. Her filtering and denial are chronic, she needs an intervention.
Upside down lightbulbHalf the time she reminds me of Pennywise when she alters her pictures to resemble an upside-down lightbulb.
Aging is not a curse, it's a gift. She needs to stop pretending she's a 20 year old supermodel.
This is all I see when her bathroom selfies and pictures come up...

I see your point. I prefer the idea of people radically accepting themselves as they are because some procedures are so astonishingly expensive and painful BUT when you find someone like Alex who clearly and painfully cannot bear to see herself as she really is, and it is very clear that she has a huge problem with the dimensions of her lower face and she distorts the true proportions of her jawline and chin, I’m surprised she hasn’t had her jawline or chin shaved down through surgery which I think is a thing?! Jawline surgery for transgender women shaves down the jawline to feminise the jawline. She could have that done. But it would be so drastic and painful. Can’t she have procedures to give her the face she wants, rather than editing photos?!
Didn't she just have a 'no haircut haircut' (wtf even is that...?) last week? No wonder her hair's ducked.Another free appointment at the hairdressers!!
Yes! Recently, in a live I think. I definitely watched her mentioning in passing that she’s had Botox recently but she said “think I had too much done in my forehead” so at least she’s honest about thatHas she admitted to having Botox yet? Those eyebrows are so high they’re trying to escape the egg
