I know, wasn't even aware that there was 'massive outrage' until it was pointed out 🙄 and they just keep on going with it. Then talking about deleting it just so a bunch of people will go 'no way it was brilliant/empowering/whatever'. Its a woman walking down the street in her underwear. I don't get it. I don't care either way about it. If I saw it I would think 'probably for the gram' and walk on 😂

I haven’t looked at the comments today but yesterday they weren’t misogynistic they were just a lot disagreeing with their opinion!

oh god if they’ve struggled with criticism this week god help them next week 😅

After her spur of the moment trip to New York! But of course nothing privileged about ' R Al ' ... she is so far removed from the reality most people are facing at the moment with paying for heating and food.

Some really good posts on the Em Clarkson thread on here which sum up beautifully the issues with both her and Alex.

On the rave thread? I just can’t follow another vapid blond upper class woman trying to be relatable and telling other women they must find a random woman wearing lingerie in the street empowering, I don’t. I think it’s absolutely desperate

It's just her thread and yes there are a few brown nose comments but also some really insightful ones that see her for exactly what she is. Her thread isn't long so it's a quick read.

She deserves an Oscar for how she's spun those comments, I've seen none slut shaming, or saying she's asking for it? Just comments explaining quite articulately why they disagree, mostly with the caveat that "I usually love your work, but..." the only snark seems to be coming from them, and a few of the die hards. They just don't like it because they've had a *bit* of disagreement. Absolute children.

Absolutely, anybody disagreeing with them in the comments has done so politely and articulately as far as I can see

The funny thing too is that people have expressed different opinions on here about how they feel about it. Nobody has been jumped on for expressing their opinion whether they are for it, against it or indifferent to it. And people say we are the trolls?

And the very next grid post is a divisive topic where she’s asking for /inviting peoples opinions?? When she’s spent the day shouting other people down for being wrong 🤯 can’t have it both ways!! All in 5 hours..

I like Alex and Em - I’d not heard of Alex before, until I started listening to their podcast. They are both very privileged!

Totally understand peoples anger about today’s video/posts though

I actually don't feel strongly either way about the video itself. It was their bratty reaction to what I thought was constructive and eloquently expressed view points. They say they are open to discussion but clearly not.

I used to be a big fan of Alex but I'm finding her intolerable right now 😅

Agreed plus was it really necessary for her to go into graphic details about dull Dave and his diarrhoea 🙄 was this another deflection from the fact she's popped to New York on the spur of the moment 🤔

Yeah, you’re right - they didn’t handle the comments well at all. I know they feel strongly about that women’s rights etc but they responded quite childishly and passive aggressive

Everything else annoying about her aside, right now I need to focus on her hideous fashion sense.
That pink and orange skirt with the blush sweatshirt. I cannot. Love the skirt in stand-alone but why does she ruin everything with an oversized sweatshirt?! And one that isn’t even the right colour ☹
