Aldi & Lidl #9

They were all half price in our local Aldi. I think the Bom Bahia range in Asda is equally as good although they seem to have stopped doing the Black Lentil Dhal which was amazing. One of the food bloggers on Youtube (Who introduced me to Bon Bahia) did a blog a few days ago and said the Iceland Luxury Red Thai curry was the best he had ever had
Found this 5* reviews recipe for it:

Me: went to Aldi to get the Dutch oven and some tea towels from the new specialbuys that came out today

Aldi: had literally every new specialbuy item except for those two 🤣

So those are the "British" week offers. Irish cheese, Irish beef 😅🙈 Random salmon (or is that very British?).
Might get the wine gums, those are nice. Apart from that, meh. They used to have crisps and other stuff as well. Very underwhelming.

Lidl have got their mini egg brownies back in the bakery again. Managed to get the last one yesterday and it was so good, definitely recommend

I bought these yesterday and live alone. There are none left today. So it's both a recommendation and a warning.

I was in today and noticed they had lip oils and other make-up and skincare.
Round chopping blocks are fashionable at the moment and I noticed they'd all gone, with loads of oblong ones left.
In the freezer I saw chocolate covered strawberries and raspberries.

I picked up an almond shower oil in Aldi today, I’ve had it before, it’s so good, just like the L’occitane one but it’s only £4.99

I got the concealer, mascara and Summer Fridays lip balm dupe from Aldi. Really impressed with the concealer and the lip balm, the mascara is not for me but if you like clumpy it's a winner!.

Got a piece of Sockeye Salmon 30% off which I have never seen in there before and it was delicious. Would happily pay full price for it if I see it again. Also a pack of 4 slices of Deli Ham for £2.59 which a woman recommended to me and that was as good as any M&S ham, nothing like the plastic ham I usually see in Aldi. (except for the Torchon ham they have).

Went early and bought the £10 plisse suit - trousers and top. The top is cropped but just enough to tuck in if you want but I have to chop off 6 inches (I am 5.3) from the legs but there is no hemming as this material is just cut and leave. For a tenner they will do me for wearing out and about when it gets a bit warmer.
Also got some harrisa salmon for 30% off but none of the sockeye I got yesterday.

There was mention on here recently that the Bilash products weren't as good this time round.
Today, I've been dejunking the kitchen and found 2 sleeves for the chicken korma, which you might be interested in.
I immediately noticed that the October 2025 deal was chargrilled marinated chicken breast pieces whilst the February 2026 deal was cooked marinated chicken breast pieces. I don't have time to analyse the rest so here's shots of the ingredients:
