I was very very sceptical but it’s actually been ok. Yes I miss my free pastry after a tenner spend but I’ve had a freebie added to my account almost every week (any bakery item, cleaning product, £5 off over £50 spend and then today they’ve added free nuts). Because of the points offers they’ve been running (double points on fruit, then 200 extra points for £30 spend for the bank holiday weekend and now 5x points on veg), my points are quickly stacking up. I’m going to save them until I get to a £15 voucher which feels to me better than a free item that I wouldn’t have chose
Me too, today I got an any free dried fruit or nuts voucher.

I picked up some of the pasta ready meals from the Italian week in Aldi. The chicken Alfredo was delicious, has anyone ever froze them? The packaging says not suitable for freezing but I’d really like to stock up on some more of them. I’ll usually freeze anything but not sure how these would fare?

I think if there’s cream in the sauce they tell you not to freeze it because the sauce might split? Personally, I freeze everything & I’ve not died. Defrost in the fridge & use the original heating instructions & you’ll be fine.

Right decision made. I’m going back tomorrow in the hopes there is a few left for me to stick in the freezer. Thank you!

I bought the pasta with beef today and had it tonight. It was nice for a microwave meal. Would have been better if I had grated cheese on top, but it was mouldy 🫠

*chef kiss* I love shopping at Aldi - especially on a monday morning before midday. So many amazing things are there.
My shopping came £43 - if i shopped at Sainsbury's it would have been double that amount.
Seriously I got Aldi high endolphin.....

I bought the bbq pulled pork & rice ready meal from Aldi after work yesterday and really enjoyed it - although I was absolutely starving by the time I got home (9pm 😭), so probably would have said the same thing about a mouldy slice of bread 🤣

Oww I can't play the video 😢. Does anyone know what this Aldi concealer is a dupe of please?. It's the best concealer I've ever owned.

I'll check out my Aldi later but they never have any of the nice makeup specials I see online for some reason, just tons of fridges and ready meals crap 😕
I was stood next to it yesterday having a chinwag and people were walking up and just going for that.
I was in the store where everything goes in a flash due to a young population.
That's why I went for an Aldi in an elderly population area for my cleansing balm as they'd all gone from my usual store.

No, the makeup specials are not sold out, they are not there at all - for some annoying reason my Aldi just doesn't have anything nice or interesting, just loads of fridges - the chillers/ready meals take up about a quarter of the store, they have a minimal shelf of toiletries etc, the baskets in the middle aisle are usually full of boring stuff, then there's loads of freezers.

Many times I gone there for something nice I've seen online, I don't know why I bother as they are never there! I'm only going to Aldi as there's road works by my Lidl and it is like one of the circles of hell...

@Nelly's mum my nearest Aldi doesn't have the special buys usually either. Maybe some of the food ones but definitely not picking up a concealer with my rosé, that's for sure.
