I have just copied this off couponkid on Insta - didn't know this...........
On the digital pricing labels, if you see an upper case ‘D’ in the top right corner - that stands for ‘Discontinued’.
Once those items are sold out, they won’t be stocked - so pick it up if it’s something you want. It ain’t coming back!

What I will say about both Aldi and Lidl is that they do seem to, in general, neglect their older stores in terms of both cleanliness/tidiness as well as good stock. And I think that makes a huge difference because it's rare to see a new Aldi and Lidl open up near each other - one seems to come when the other one in the area is quite run down.

My local Aldi opened about 3 years ago and it was truly fab when it did; putting Lidl to absolute shame (which was really dire and honestly filthy). Unfortunately I am already seeing a decline in stock in my local Aldi (we seem to get less of the good stuff!) and everything seems to be from the day it opened, meaning a lot of the carts, displays, floors are beginning to look a bit grubby and worn down. Another 5 years and it would begin to look like the Lidl it took all the trade from...

My Aldi were clearing out the middle aisle today, must be getting ready for Xmas drops but they had loads of random end of line special buys with 75% off stickers. Got a lamp with a charging point for £4.99. Even the guy on the till said what a bargain

Spanish Paprika and Paella spices, Ortiz Tuna and Anchovies, Mato which is Catalan Cottage Cheese, Bouquet Garni cubes by Knorr which are almost £1 each on Amazon, Nenuco Baby products - talc and cologne which smell great in the bathroom, Turon (nougat) Olive Oil. Wine.
Not allowed to bring cheese or meat products but will eat the cheese on the way home.
Sure this will grow longer when I am in the shops. I am not flying there so not so restricted and not taking many clothes as I love shopping in the markets although only there 10 days.

I’ve roasted a chicken a few times in the air fryer and do the turning thing. So upside down for the first half of cooking time then flip it to be breast side up.

I was feeling a bit fed up having bought some granola from Lidl to see something in the media about it being really bad for your health - UPF etc.
However, having checked out the ingredients seems I was wrong there's no UPF in it.
Great news as I love granola!🥰

They absolutely do taste like sick. Like Hershey vomit chocolate. Rank. That’s the first thing I said when I gave them away. 😂
See, I didn't think to look at the ingredients whilst buying them because there are so few people in Europe and the UK who even like Hershey "chocolate" so why would Lidl have done that? It doesn't make sense.

These are them for those who want to avoid them. Stay safe, y'all.

Is that the black box?

Have you always lived in the uk?
Aye and aye. My dad's family came over in the 40s and 50s so no one immediately has lived over here in decades but it's genuinely where I feel calmest which, with an anxiety disorder, is amazing. It's mostly my mum and dog that'd be the hold up.

Everything I've read online says that the pistachio balls taste like vomit! Hope to be proven wrong by this thread so I can run to Lidl to get some 🤞

Frozen party food has arrived in Lidl! I always love the potato gratins they do as well at this time of year, some new flavours e.g reblochon and bacon which I have picked up to try.

Can also confirm their lobster crisps are worth the £1.15 a bag!

Went this morning but no luck... 💚😭😭 You"d want your wits about you on Parnell street ffs 👀👀👀👀😂
But got these and they sound yum..
Well feck them all for clearing out. I didn't get in but had my o/h go in, and the muppet asked a lady on the tils 'do you still have that eve lom dupe in, your own cleansing balm'. I was like wtf is wrong with you, scarlet. Imagine walking straight up to a worker and saying that, anyway to cut it short she said no but we'll have them next week. He went off did some shopping he ended up in the aisle and there was 4 poxy tubs sat on the shelf. He got me 2, he reckons she was trying to stash them for herself :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Men!! (she'd have some in the back for herself i think). That aldi always does me dirty. "yea theyre on the shelf" and they never are (food related).

I sent him the pic u put here because I wanted one, call it fomo and he said they've none. His ma then sent me a whatsapp showing me 3 bottles in blanch and a cleanser "do you want these" :ROFLMAO:😅 if she bought those 3 bottles and you want 2 lmk. I hope she hasn't i just wanted to try it, i'm as burps would say bawn white gurrrl 😩 lol

The tortillas look moreish, give us your verdict when youve had 'em.

If any of yous are influenced by the masses, don't buy that lemon meringue gelato it was pants. It was more lemon sobert which is divine but that's not why I bought it.

There are 4 Aldi and 3 Lidl near me. There’s a terrible Aldi, I’ve seen fights break out in it and there’s one that is cos-playing as a M&S. The Lidls are all ok. I know my way round Aldi better but would go in any of them before I’d set foot in Asda, Tesco or Morrisons.

I’m doing most of my shopping in Sainsburys at the min, with the nectar card I’m finding it really reasonably priced.
I do like the nectar card. I occasionally pop into the Sainsbury's nearby when I finish at the gym, and I'm often coming away having saved a few quid on a small shop.
