Maybe OT but out of interest what kind of stuff did you buy? When I used to visit the UK regularly, I always brought an extra piece of luggage just for food and tea![]()

Lots of tea (the stuff that is sold here as "tea" tastes nothing like proper tea!), crisps, bourbon cream biscuits, tins of baked beans (we do get baked beans here now but back then nope), random sweets and chocolate (GalaxyMaybe OT but out of interest what kind of stuff did you buy?
They must have. I haven’t seen them for years and I’ve been looking.Omg!! Have they? I wondered why I couldn’t find them anymore
Yes, but I'm a heathen so went with the milk chocolate ones. Flipz keep shrinking their packets so can piss off.Did they have dark chocolate pretzels? I am not happy with Flipz for discontinuing the dark chocolate ones.
Wow, I will pay a visit thank you!Yes, but I'm a heathen so went with the milk chocolate ones. Flipz keep shrinking their packets so can piss off.
My go-to coffee chocolate has been the nescafe kitkats, but I definitely need to try a bar (or several) of this! Not M&S related but I know there are some fellow coffee chocolate lovers on the thread. My Dad picked me up a few bars of the Cadbury Iced Latte
eatlier this week, haven’t picked them up yet so can’t comment on how nice they are but they are £1.50 in Tesco View attachment 3614522
Those mocha kitkats are divine! My go-to coffee chocolate has been the nescafe kitkats, but I definitely need to try a bar (or several) of this!
I'm half Irish so am throughly enjoying myself but honestly, can't recommend the place enough. Lidl being such a great place helps too. So sorry, not sorryWow, I will pay a visit thank you!
I'm genuinely looking at how to move over here permanently. It's making me feel like London isn't where I'm meant to be. (Plus getting Barry's Master Blend in Tesco, rather than Amazon, is a dream).Oh I forgot you were currently in Ireland!Im half Irish too and used to live there.
Aye and aye. My dad's family came over in the 40s and 50s so no one immediately has lived over here in decades but it's genuinely where I feel calmest which, with an anxiety disorder, is amazing. It's mostly my mum and dog that'd be the hold up.Is that the black box?
Have you always lived in the uk?

It's not far off the square in one of those mini industrial estates, you know the ones that have like 2 or 3 shops. I've only been in it twice and both times it was alright I mean I did some damage. It's kind of like if mr price/eurogiant and dealz had a baby and added furniture. The tit you pick upOh really,? Is it in the square?
Might take a trip out .
My life would want to calm the duck down![]()
I had no idea they did coffee slices in lidls, my o/h loves them. I'll have to shop here more often. I only ever go to lidl for fresh pretzels (another love by the o/h) deodorant and disposable razors. I don't even properly understand the app, feel like an oap trying to use it. I never remember it and when I do it's always logged out even though i'll have been logged in before. Thank you for the heads upView attachment 3614254View attachment 3614255View attachment 3614256
Both items are like crack for me. Ireland Lidl wants me to put on weight again![]()
I did not know Home Bargains was online … that’s dangerous for meHome Bargains is online if that's any help. It's up there with my favourite shops. Sometimes it's so good it's my number one favourite. Their dupes have been really good.
I have a large one nearby so they can stock more. Before this I could never understand what people were raving about.![]()
