Something that’s been frustrating me about Aldi recently…apologies if this has been mentioned before, is their reduced-price sticker system. These items don’t have barcodes, so if you’re using the self-service checkout, you have to remember to flag a staff member to apply the discount. The staff mentioned that this is intentional, because customers often scan items without noticing whether the reduced price has come off. Dirty tactics.

A rant - I got to Aldi at 8.10 am (on the 1st bus) to buy a hot air weed killer and couldn't find any. I asked and the cashier told me they had 6 when they opened at 8 and a bloke came in and bought them all. .
Did get some stuff on 50% off stickers, 2 extra large chickens for £3.60 each and plenty of soft fruit which will go in the freezer along lots of those bags of 1 chopped onion which I find so useful so I suppose it was worth going.

Really liking the look of some of the new candles coming to Aldi tomorrow.
Can I be bothered to get up early, so I can get to Aldi before I have to start work?

I saw one of the “Mummy Influencers” went to the Aldi Christmas event & they have a Whispering Angel dupe coming out which I am very excited to try. I didn’t catch the name from the quick clip but it will be easy to spot as in true Aldi style, the label is almost identical & no doubt it will have a name like Shouting Cherub.

If it isn’t shouting cherub I’m going to be really disappointed

Can I just say... Dublin Aldi is shit


Went with a list.. Not 1 thing on the list was there.

No curries, no mac n cheese, no freeze dried bits, no electrolytes squeezy thing, no battered Brussels sprouts..


Shit Aldi we have ,I'm moving to wherever you get the good bits
