I'm in Ireland and just wanted to recommend some Aldi things that I've discovered lately and love!
Aldi version of Hula Hoops - I have become addicted, nicer than the real thing, I think.
Apple Pie Cookies - there was an American week a few weeks ago and these biscuits are still in stock at my local store, they are just the nicest biscuits, if you like apple and cinnamon and slightly crunchier than cookies.
Chianti Castellore was recommended on BBC Saturday Kitchen apparently - a very nice wine and great value.

I will try the Aldi Hula Hoops @PaddyDomino - thanks for the rec.

We are obsessed by the massive multipack of Aldi corn snacks - the fake Wotsits/Chipsticks/Frazzles etc. They’re SO good if you like a cheap crisp like we all do - loads of flavour and very cheap as well.

The Goan prawn curry one is delicious. Click on this - they are all there.
I had the chicken biryani for tea. Very nice. I've put the Keralan style chicken in the freezer with the pilau rice and veg samosas.
They were cleaned out of the chicken pakoras so I'd be interested to know if they're really nice. The pickles were untouched.
Last year they were cleaned out of the samosas. This year I could only see veg ones - no space for the lamb ones. There were only 2 rice options.
Luckily this year there was no need to mountaineer up the shelves to get mine and other shoppers choices down. 🤭😏

I googled for Bilash reviews - I have to agree regarding the spiciness of the Biryani which made me cough but I still liked it! Seems that the prawn curry and Rogan Josh are well liked. I understand now why the dips were all swerved in my store:

I had one of every curry last time they had them in and every one was good, and the pickles are nice.
I bought the Pataks pickles last week and ate half a jar of the mixed veg on 2 meals but they are an acquired taste.

I did not know this and am a crisp FIEND.

Bit worried my Lidl doesn’t have these as I’ve never seen them, but I travel a lot for work so often pass a random one.

Currently enjoying some Nibbly Nobbles from Aldi. Pretty similar to Nik Naks! Would buy again.

Aldi hula hoops used to be made by hula hoops. I've had bags mixed up with branded hula hoops before. I don't shop in Aldi anymore as Lidl is much closer so this was a while ago. Over five years.

I remember that, I bought some and all the packets were branded but the outside bag was Aldi.

I’ve fed you false info 😭 They aren’t giant wotsits, they are big hula hoops - the maize kind (Moster Munch texture) so sorry. Still 10/10 though.
