I've troughed a whole pack of Aldi's shortbread. It was delicious 😋. It had the longest sell by date but the least ingredients, so I'm scratching my head on how it would last till October 2025!
It was in oblong black packaging. Sorry that's all I can remember.😳🤭
Further confession - it was meant to be for guests coming today. Luckily they've cancelled. 😏

I got some of the Aldi shortbread in the tin with the robin on. It was meant to be a Christmas gift for Mr Pecans parents but we accidentally opened it and ate it. It’s so good 🤤 Had to buy another tin and it’s taking all my willpower not to open that one!

Ooh, I feel so much better to know I'm not the only one! 🤭😋🐽

Lidl has sent me this recipe. I've got a small chocolate panettone (on Tattle recommendation).
Is it worth using it for this recipe or is it a no no?
From a panettone novice.

Has anyone seen Ice Wine in Lidl? They did it last year and it was fantastic for the price but I can’t see it in my local store.

I have just eaten a warm croissant cut open with a slithering of the pecan hazelnut dark chocolate spread & a scoop of salted caramel ice cream, all from Lidl.
It was 😋

I too love those 'cheap' shortbread but they've leapt up in price.

I think they are like Lidl Deluxe Scottish shortbread and they are made for Aldo and Lidl by Deans who make delicious shortbread.
I've got a box of the Co-op shortbread that was recommended. I'll have to check who makes theirs. 😁😋🐽

I’m trying to eat lower carb / stay in a calorie deficit where I can in the run up to Xmas (only because I want to an absolute pig over Xmas !!) For anyone interested, I picked these up at the weekend in Lidl. I always think chicken sausages can be pretty bland but these are nice. I think they were £2.49.

I bought the Aldi hot chocolate maker (£24.99) for my Son for Xmas. For obvious reasons I haven't opened it. Has anyone bought one and used it as I want to get this brand of chocolate Single Origin Luxury Hot Chocolate | Premium Hot Chocolate to add to the gift.
I used to sell this brand in my coffee shop and it is the absolute best product. I sold my business 8 years ago and when I see old customers they still mention the hot chocolate.

I see Aldi have dupes of the Nuxe oil and shower gel. I actually like the originals enough to pay full price and love the smell, wonder how Aldi's versions compare.

I still haven't quite recovered from the last face oil bought from Aldi which smells like it'd be better used for making a curry 😭.

I’ve bought the oil dupe when it was out in Aldi last time, it’s really lovely and has a really nice light floral scent. I’ve never actually bought the real version so not sure how it comperes but the dupe is good. I always stock up when it’s back. Haven’t tried the shower gel.
