I'm really impressed with the selection of Christmas food from Aldi. Took a bit of time to find the marzipan log bars recommended on here as the packaging looked different.

Aldis aren't so easy to find in my neck of the woods so finding one in norf, norf London is amazing to me. Barely glanced at anything but the middle aisles. My big, hairy dog even got a Christmas jumper. That's how excited I got 🫠

I watched a programme called 24 hours in Aldi on Netflix last night. No huge revelations but it was quite interesting when they got into the psychology they use to make you spend more money.
Aldi Bramwell baked beans, 41p. Indistinguishable from heinz. I'm shocked, I was expecting watery too sweet/salt sauce, manky beans, but no, identical.
Did you watch the one about Asda that's just been on 5, that was interesting.

I can’t cope with the Christmas ranges already being available like what is to stop me from buying things “for Christmas” and just eating them now. Please help. I’m guessing that’s why they stock it early so you’ll eat and rebuy but it’s just annoying when you’re trying to be in your healthy girl era

This one had some left and the bigger dog jumpers were nowhere near the smaller ones. It made no sense but she got the grey one and will like it or lump it

They also had some great curries recently, but just for a week. Wish I’d stocked up on them now, and shoved them in the freezer.
This is the one thing I absolutely hate about Aldi.

As if we needed any more encouragement, the marzipan logs and mini stollen bites are on 20% off in Lidl this week... I assume this is everywhere and not just my local store, as this isn't in the personalised coupon section of my app
