I was looking at their frozen battered extra nice fish in the freezer the other day when my bestie drove me to Aldi (lidl is our local). It looked very nice.
We've also planned a trip to a new big Aldi in the next town next week and are both stupidly excited.
Confession: I've got a relative storing food in my freezer currently. Ended up "borrowing" from it when I was too tired to cook! I've thrown the box out. There were 4 in the box and I know I owe them about £4

I'm cross with Lidl, they have a couple of Chinese themed sorbets in but not the turmeric ice cream AS PROMISED which is the one I wanted

As if nobody mentioned it was Italian week in Lidl. Quite frankly you are all off my Christmas card list as you were obviously trying to keep the coffee Ice cream and chocolate covered pistachios to yourself.

Right! Imagine my surprise when I wandered in for some Greek yoghurt and stir fry veg, and I see chocolate covered pistachios and taralli from half the shop away

Yes, I was in there today filling my basket. I had to put the coffee ice cream back and some Italian pizzas as they had stuff in them I can't have.
However, I got the pistachio cream, chocolate pistachios and Italian lemon dessert and the usual Magnum dupes amongst other things.
Being as how I can never seem to go in Lidl/Aldi without incident
I had a bit of trouble with a tipsy male customer especially when he started picking on the newbie till operator. I was getting quite close to telling him to f*** **f despite being a lady.
I also got some dark choc croccantini which are bloody delicious. Highly recommend.

Snagged the last jar of bueno spread this morning! I didn’t realise it was that popular. I’ve never tried it yet…dangerous.

Happy with this morning’s haul. They didn’t have the pistachio spread in my store or the lemon gelato. If you are a lemon fan I HIGHLY recommend picking it up as it’s incredible!
