I've troughed a whole pack of Aldi's shortbread. It was delicious
Ooh, I feel so much better to know I'm not the only one!I got some of the Aldi shortbread in the tin with the robin on. It was meant to be a Christmas gift for Mr Pecans parents but we accidentally opened it and ate it. It’s so goodHad to buy another tin and it’s taking all my willpower not to open that one!
is it this one? There wasn’t many left in my local store so might go and clear the shelf on your recommendationI've troughed a whole pack of Aldi's shortbread. It was delicious. It had the longest sell by date but the least ingredients, so I'm scratching my head on how it would last till October 2025!
It was in oblong black packaging. Sorry that's all I can remember.
Further confession - it was meant to be for guests coming today. Luckily they've cancelled.
Yes.....is it this one? There wasn’t many left in my local store so might go and clear the shelf on your recommendation
I can’t vouch for it but yum this looks deliciousLidl has sent me this recipe. I've got a small chocolate panettone (on Tattle recommendation).
Is it worth using it for this recipe or is it a no no?
From a panettone novice.

I've got a box of the Co-op shortbread that was recommended. I'll have to check who makes theirs.I think they are like Lidl Deluxe Scottish shortbread and they are made for Aldo and Lidl by Deans who make delicious shortbread.
I’ve bought the oil dupe when it was out in Aldi last time, it’s really lovely and has a really nice light floral scent. I’ve never actually bought the real version so not sure how it comperes but the dupe is good. I always stock up when it’s back. Haven’t tried the shower gel.I see Aldi have dupes of the Nuxe oil and shower gel. I actually like the originals enough to pay full price and love the smell, wonder how Aldi's versions compare.
I still haven't quite recovered from the last face oil bought from Aldi which smells like it'd be better used for making a curry.
