The school kid Andrex Advert. It states that something like 75% of kids won’t poo at school. Now if, like me, you went to a normal State comprehensive, the reason you didn’t like to poo at school is because the locks were all smashed off the cubicles and there was always a danger of some idiot standing on a toilet to look at you over the partition from the next cubicle. It’s got duck all to do with how soft the toilet roll is as there was no toilet roll because it has all been rammed down the bogs to block them. This leads me to believe this advert was dreamt up by a load of old public school kids who have no idea what the majority of ‘normal’ kids’ schooling is like.

Totally agree.There are so many ones like that now. I don't even think we need to see women putting sanitary towels in their pants - we all know how to do that. I get there is normalising and breaking down taboos, but I just don't want to see it tbh. Any more than I'd want to see someone wiping their bum.
As for spraying deodorant on your balls and a so people can have a good sniffand the one where the man is shaving his balls for a completely unrelated deliveroo ad (I think).
I think if the ad was good or witty it might be better - but it's just shock factor atm.
Those a sniffing ones are absolutely dreadful. And I won't be ordering dominos pizza anytime soon, based on the ad with the guy shaving his nethers, and an equally creepy one where the delivery guy appears in the bath. WTF.

Adverts are always set in this sort-of past fantasy world. Schools all look a bit like Hogwarts, people sit around tables to eat breakfast with milk in a jug and businesses are run from 1970s offices: people with their own desks and office spaces, secretaries and tea ladies. And anyone under the age of about 30 living in their own place doesn't own a washing machine, so goes to a launderette with other attractive young people.
