Yeah there's something uncomfortable about that, like she's some sort of religious cult leader or something. America has such a ducked up celebrity culture, they really hold up famous people as some sort of different coveted species or religious leaders with "fans" degrading themselves around them. Until they're ready to tear them down when that holier-than-thou status gets to their heads and they develop mental health issues ALA Britney or Madonna.

I think Adele is enjoying that Hollywood elite status now but it's going to mess her up in the long run.

Her smugness and sense of entitlement just oozes through in every picture taken of her. Any likability she may have ever had has been well and truly stripped away by Hollyweird. It's actually a little depressing.

I don't know why the concerts are being so praised, I've seen some clips and it looks so boring, and she really looks a bit dead behind the eyes to me. Not quite sure how to explain it, but she looks a little bit bored and like she thinks she's above everyone who has come to see her. I find the smiles and waves a bit fake/forced.

Not Hollywood at all, get the sense she was fake AF from Day One and the cockney schitk was totally put-on.

obviously not a reliable source but I remember her saying last year (I think it was on Graham Norton) that she wants another baby, and she’s the only person I can think of that would fit this regardless of if it’s true or not…

If the stories about Rich Paul stepping out on her are true then I guess we know what the next album is gonna be about.

No, the Cockney schtick was real. When her first album came out, she and her mother were living in a flat above a row of shops in South London - the kind of place where the flats are up a flight of stairs at the back. She wasn't posh or middle class; she was a working-class girl who was ambitious and went to the Brit School so she could get a foothold in the music business. .

No, I meant all that wide-eyed, who-little-old-me stuff always seemed so fake. Nothing wrong with ambition but got the sense that she was never that humble.
