He lost in the 4 x 100m Medley mixed relay last night too. Shame for the rest of the team ....... having to put up with this person who is a self-entitled, self-indulgent, me, me, me.
I didn’t know he said this! What a fool! I swear he used to have pretty good publicity but he’s absolutely ruining his image now throwing his toys out of the pram.
He’s always been a bit like it. He doesn’t get that these are still great achievements, especially at his age.

He is trying to come across as a bit contrite about what he has been saying over the commonwealth games presumably because he has seen the bad press but still comes across poorly imo.
I feel like he was at a championship before he didn’t win and told Sharron Davies (who was doing the interviews straight after the races) he didn’t care about that particular championship. It might have been the Commonwealth Games four years ago but it’s something he clearly says to shrug off his disappointment - I didn’t want to win it anyway
