Some very odd comments here talking about Holly as if she looks like Quasimodo. She's a perfectly normal, pleasant looking woman? 99% of us are like that, just normal looking. I'm not beautiful and my husband isn't an Adonis but we love each other and find each other attractive.

I find him and Holly a strange match. Looking back on her Instagram she hasn’t been blessed in the looks department, not ugly but quite plain and ordinary. I think there’s been a mention they met on strictly so may have had an affair. His ex is very talented, seems like a good mum, very attractive. He’s kept all of their photos up on Instagram and tik tok. It must drive Holly mad looking how slim and pretty his ex is, the mum to his son and what seems like a nice person. Obviously he can’t stay in a relationship if he’s not happy. But I don’t see him and Holly lasting. But in that kind of family it would be very hard to leave. Moreso when kids are involved.

I think all sides in this are as bad as each other, but maybe he and Holly really love each other. Holly being plain and ordinary in your opinion, and not as slim and pretty as his ex doesn't mean she isn't lovable or isn't worthy of a happy, long lasting marriage. Nor does a woman being slim and pretty make her more lovable. Except to shallow creeps.

With all the money that they had to spend on a wedding, there must be some amount of upper class private venues they could have chosen. Instead they’ve gone for a public venue that isn’t even on the roadside, so the bride is getting dropped off at the bus stop surrounded by random folk in their winter anoracks. And “security” making a dogs dinner of crowd control. The whole thing looks a mess.

My child is a competitive swimmer and we are working class. Do I enjoy the alarm going off at 4am 4 mornings a week. Fuck no. Do I enjoy the approx £250 it costs us on average a month just for training and other related costs (not including competition fees). Fuck no. Do I still do it as my child adores swimming and it makes them so happy. Fuck yes!

His parents will have done the same and without them, he would not be who he is now, he has had his head turned and has been spoilt and ungrateful about it all. It wouldnt have killed him to say that his parents are the ones who got him there and we all know Holly wouldnt have looked at him twice if he wasnt a decorated olympian. This marriage will fail, they wont be together long term and then who will he have?

Exactly, and at what point does it stop being about ‘she drove him to swimming at 4am every day’? Like okay great, I’m sure he is grateful for that, and if he isnt then he really is a twat, but at some point they need to get over it. And to have it all hashed out in the papers knowing the comments are full of people saying he should be grateful, I wouldn’t want to speak to my family again either!!

Driving someone to swimming at 4am doesn’t mean they owe you a lifetime of letting them walk all over you and treat you like shit.

Apparently now the narrative is that there had been a wider feud in the family for some time, but this round kicked off because his brother and aunts weren’t invited to the engagement party. Adam had most of them blocked on social media so his Aunty resorted to posting a load of abuse on Holly’s insta about the Mum not being invited to the hen.

I reckon Adam was probably prepared to take a load of muck thrown at him because of the 4am starts, but it was getting Holly publicly involved in their fighting that finished him off with them.

TBH, the way his family have behaved since the hen, can you imagine what they’d be like at parties? They’d probably all be legless and brawlimg half an hour in.

Never mind the public indecency, the comments he made about why he wasn't at his kids' birth is so revolting.

He said: "We have a very active sex life and we decided that it wasn't good for our sexual relationship for me to be at the births.

"I told her I'd feel squeamish seeing that level of mess. It's like sending 25 vegans into a kitchen with meat in the blender."

Sorry but what in the acrual fuck does having an active sex life have to do with being at the birth of your children. Noone is asking you to stick your head up the birth canal and search for the baby yourself. I'd be mortified if I was her knowing he had said this publicly, and i dont mean about the sex part.

I might be wrong but I think if Adam Peaty had married the lassie who is the mother of his wee boy, all of his family would have been invited.

But cos he's "moving up' in the world, he didn't want the common folk turning up and reminding him of the days when he didn't have 2 pennies to rub together.

Holly and Tanya are also complicit in this carry on. They know Adams mum doesn't move in the same circles as their family and instead of reaching out to the woman and trying to support her, they look down their nose at her and don't invite her to the hen do. But they make sure to invite Tanya's friends.

Even if the mum is an outlaw rather than an in-law, its like the old saying - keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

But i agree with other posters here, the publicity has probably given these 2 egomaniacs a feeling that theyre important

And one last thing - they've fallen out with Adams mum because of her dress, but Tanya's dad, who went to jail for hacking Gordons computer WAS invited to the wedding!!! That's mental!!! But then, Tanya's dad was a wealthy business man who set Gordon on the path to fame and fortune. Like Neil Diamond used to sing 'Money Talks'

Honestly the only thing he is embarrassed about, and it’s only happened since he met The Ramsays, are that they are a working class family with not a lot of money. But still got up at 5am every morning to take him swimming. With no privilege at all, his family got him to elite athlete status. But now they’re not good enough. The only person or persons that look like pricks are Adam and his new in laws.

So apparently his Mum got out of bed at 4.40am to drive him 40 mins to swim class, stayed for 2 hours, and spent 40 mins driving him home.
She then went to her day job as a nursery manager.
And repeated it all again after work….every day of the week.

And this is how he has repaided her.
