I think he was referring to the mall right near the hotel. It doesn't seem to have occurred to him to look any further than that! The very briefest of searches on google maps show plenty of McDonald's branches just a short walk from where they were staying, a number of which are open 24hours. They could have found another one no problem, especially as they walked over to Gastown anyway. The lack of critical thinking is really quite odd.

He did not have to explorer at all as he literally walked by open restaurants before settling on Fatburger. Places like the Water St. Cafe pictured behind Gary, if he turned slightly to the left there is the Pourhouse restaurant, behind Adam was Black Frog Eatery, etc. Adam hates venturing far from the hotel (except at WDW) and it stresses him out.
Remember when he went to Rome before his Disney Cruise? He ate dinner in the hotel restaurant!
You are in Rome and you don't venture out! He was a minutes away from some great dining options. He is a clown. 
He is a bit sheltered. The fact that he lives in England not a million miles from UK theme parks and London yet he only makes vlogs when he’s in WDW or LA. Adam and also Gary could have made themselves quite YouTube famous but they’ve just pottered along like the lazy gits that they are.
It was even worse than that as it was the airport hotel restaurantRemember when he went to Rome before his Disney Cruise? He ate dinner in the hotel restaurant!

He commented that the staff know that Concierge guests pay a lot of money to travel that class so you get double shots of the drinks.

And I’m not gonna lie - I read a lot of criticism about vloggers not venturing out to see other stuff than theme parks, repeat visits etc and I could definitely see myself doing the same but there is no alternate reality where I have all the money in the world where I would ever spend the money on a concierge / suite etc. Maybe that’s what people like? They get to see concierge without having to pay for it?
How do you know someone is in a concierge cabin on a Disney cruise?
Don’t worry they’ll tell you.
As a firm believer in inside cabins, with the price difference to upgrade to a veranda it’s like pay for 4 cruises get your 5th one free!
It’s also that Disney is so overpriced on the Alaska route while not justifying the price. And then within the Disney ship Concierge is so overpriced compared to other cabins. This is end of season so prices equivalent to start of season when they went.
Holy tit that is crazy expensive. With that much money he spends on going to Disney and on Disney cruises. He could have bought himself a home.
Ultimately what Concierge means for Adam is just a nicer cabin to eat cheeseplates and chicken tenders while watching Sister Act!
He is not huge on the shows so Priority seating is not a big factor, he is not a big drinker so the happy hour in the concierge lounge doesn't really matter, if he wants snacks before or after meals he can order room service, go on deck or try the snack buffet at Crown and Fin instead of the snack buffet in the lounge. All a silly flex by Adam so he can brag about it while showing off his gold concierge sticker.

Man it’s so expensive . My husband and I while watching the vlog said it’s something we’d like to do one day with our kids . We’d like to see Alaska (I’d love to see whales) and our kids love Disney , win win ! But we looked up the prices and were like uhhhh
maybe if we win the lottery !!I can’t believe Adam has this much money to burn that he can not only do concierge cruises multiple times a year but fly business too and pay for all his personality hires . Insane to me
