I literally gasped when the breaking news of his death came up on my phone. I knew he was in a bad way mentally but still a shock to hear he’s gone so young. Sad he couldn’t beat his demons and heartbroken for his son. RIP Aaron x

nick needs to go home and be with his family. Shows can easily be rescheduled. He’ll be hurting and I bet full of so much regret the next few days/weeks/months.One of the only times I would have been fine being wrong
Problem is, Nick will be judged if he doesn’t cancel. He has a commitment to his band and a family to earn money for and might want to carry on. Nick likely grieved for his relationship with Aaron a long time ago. I do not judge Nick for perhaps not wanting to go home to be with his mother right now, he’s invested a lot of his own emotional work in moving away from them because they are toxic. BSB are like a family to him. His fans also care for him, being with them might be what he needs to doThis is how I’m feeling. Yeah I agree, I don’t think he’ll feel the same as if it had happened before this rift. Their relationship was damaged beyond repair and he had moved on already.
I’ve not been up to date at all with Aaron or Bsb but just reading it today makes me remember I just thought he was the young boy who was the child star younger brother. It’s all quite sad.

Shocking but also not shocking if that makes sense. I was a huge BSB (and Nick fan) in the late 90s and sort of kept an eye on the family, but seeing Aaron just decline year upon year was so sad.
Re Bruce, this was mentioned in a court case when Aaron sued his mother. Aaron would have been the same age as his own daughters, so it’s not clear whether he was taking on a fatherly role or a weird one. His mother also left him with Michael Jackson and the story about him has twisted about

My friend messaged me telling me he died last night. I was shocked but not surprised. Poor guy on a downward spiral since childhood.
Addiction of any sort is so insidious. Most often a bi product of trauma. Alongside depression, anxiety, personality disorders etc. He was so awfully mentally unwell but seemed to have all the wrong people in his life cheering his downward spiral.
All these celebs paying tribute to someone they said was amazing but also had demons. Where was their support over the last few years.
All this social media attention now he's died celebrating his younger success, his potential and talent. All these paltforms and high profile celebs could have used their fame for his support and so on. Yet people dont. They shy away from mental illness yet regret when someone dies as a result of it. You see go fund me page for people with cancer.
