Shock she’s an absolute MELT - I hope she’s gone.
I see she was up Terrie McEvoy’s hole the other day. They’re a good pair. St Terrier, patron saint of nurses who went recruiting them all promising them the world and getting paid commission and then they were left high and dry after getting to Australia with no steady work.
So probably what Caroline is about to do but for teachers

I would wonder about her target audience in her home town? Did she open there because it’s a facility they need or because it was convenient? You would think somewhere like Belfast would have made more sense. I know Caroline is ‘well known’ but how many of them families from her own town care enough to support her really

Maybe I am a pessimist but I don’t see the gap for her new venture if it’s going to cost parents quite a bit to send their kids there.

I know the parents that do send their children to tutors will go for the specialised subject tutors rather than a general literature and numeracy one after school. It’s not really worth the money then.

Unless it’s a charity and free and in that case I guess it would give an extra help to some families

They’ve been mates for quite a long time. One of them used to go out with Caroline’s brother, and their friendship survived when the relationship finished.
They did Sunrise Social Newcastle and planned the bottomless brunches.
I don’t know them well, but would know of them, and from what I’ve encountered they seem like pretty nice girls.
They have the patience of saints to put up with her!

Yep in my experience it’s $30-40k for private secondary schools and that’s just fees. Add all the extra fees for this that and the other, extra curriculars, multiple uniforms/ sports uniforms etc. It’s actually insane

Yes looks like that, maybe Dundalk Study Academy vibes , which is doing really well but dependant on good, experienced teachers and Examiners. She has never [to my knowledgeable) taught in NI so won't be familiar with the curriculum

I think i was right about the study academy/tutoring business. The only problem is she isn't actually working as a teacher here, is not an examiner and has no experience teaching in NI

But if you listen to enough BS podcasts and climb a few mountains you can do anything.
