Well the world didn't actually end last time he was President, despite everyone's claims of doom and gloom and hellfire.
But then past records don't seem to count for anything in US elections.
There has been innumerable really terrible people who have done really awful things while in positions of power but 'the world didn't actually end'. Does that mean Trump should be given another go to see if he can surpass his awfulness from last time? Anyone who for even a fraction of a second can entertain the idea of voting for him to be President is off their head.
I would say that's a pretty low bar to clear.
But we could take a look at some stuff he did.
Withdrew USA from the climate change agreement, the only hope we have to halt global warming
Sucked up to vile dictators such as Putin and Kim Jong Un
Belittled and mocked his own allies in NATO to the point that Putin thought the alliance so weak that he could invade Ukraine on a whim.
Stuffed the Supreme court with his own cronies, to such a point that they have made an batshit crazy ruling that he can't be prosecuted for anything he ever did in office.
Ensured that Roe v Wade was overturned, causing millions of american women to not be able to receive basic medical care in their own state. Due to the overturning of Roe v Wade, IVF has become impossible in some states, thus preventing couples with fertility issues from having a child of their own.
Grossly mismanaged the covid pandemic, to the point that the US had higher deaths per capita than any other developed nation.
If you think that is a legacy to be proud of, then reason is of no more benefit in this argument
EDIT I actually forgot,
- Incited a riot to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
- Pressured his own vice president to break the law to stop the certification of the election
- Consistently put out false claims that the election was stolen, despite , when given a chance to by the courts, could provide no evidence of said electoral corruption
- Told state officials in Georgia to "find 20,000 votes" for him.
I'm sure there is plenty more that I'm not recalling just now

I mean I just gave one reason why some people might be voting for him, I'm not sure why that's triggered such an outpouring of his sins. I think we all get that he's not much liked round these parts!
I do wonder why the Republicans haven't come up with anyone else "less bad" though.

The scary thing is, Trump wasn't in steep cognitive decline as he is now. We'll survive, but God help the US if Trump and his Oligarchs win. Another thing that isn't a surprise is them trying to link Kamala and Diddy, even going as far as photoshopping pictures to make it look as if she was at his parties while ignoring a certain other person who was at several of them and Diddy was at many of his too with the two of them a kissing each other.

It's not even Trump I really have an issue with. It's the paid-for media. Corporate media is a disgrace. They treat Trump as a 'normal' person. He isn't. I know it might sound extreme, but he's just like Hitler. Although to be fair to Hitler he actually fought in a war and was kind to dogs. Trump hates dogs. Whatever your political persuasion is, tell me that a man who doesn't like dogs isn't a wrong'un. It's in plain sight. For all of his faults, and there are many, Trump doesn't like dogs and that's a MASSIVE red flag for me.

It's absurd. Don't worry though, Kamala will destroy him in the polls. Why do I say that? I say that because whatever pillow-talk women tell their husbands in red states will not register on the ballot. Women in red states will not vote for this .unt. Trust me.
Trump's people are going after young men. It's their only hope. I don't have the data to comment. Arizona is the key state imo. If Arizona goes blue democracy (whatever that is) wins.
