I think that what is happening is so unprecedented and incomparable to anything that has happened historically that the ramifications are still unknown.

Now to be grouped as funding 'fraud waste and abuse' and I think every(?) question about any of those now gets that as the standard term with no further subdividing of categories when confronted with anti-american questions like 'but this one is surely waste not fraud'.

And while we are on the subject of the treacherous lies of hostile media propaganda, AP News I think is still on the naughty step for not going along with the ridiculous attempt to rename the Gulf of Mexico? So no invite to the oval office scrum but still permitted to attend the main press briefings, albeit for reasons of proving how amazingly open the government is.

This is government transparency 2.0, everyone is permitted to see what they are shown and hear what they are told.

Are the national archives still being purged of anything deemed to be unpatriotic lies or did someone manage to put a stop to that? And there is a question of how diligent the latest national archivist is going to be as regards selection of material.
I know the media is all too frequently rubbish but at least the unwashed masses could still rummage through official records and find stuff out but if the records aren't there in the first place, that becomes a bit of a problem.

Add to this a question of edits to pages on government websites to remove all the terms that appear on the list of disapproved-of terminology and how complete they are on return.

Some pages came back complete, some had links to certain people removed.
I’m so f**king furious at what’s happening to America and the world all because some petty little racist man baby liar couldn’t take being told no, that he lost an election, that Barack Obama was smarter, more popular and better looking than him with a beautiful wife who actually loved him. Same goes for that POS Mitch McConnell whose mission in life was to make Obama a one term president only. When that failed he decided to deny Obama’s Supreme Court nominee and to stack the court with conservatives who lied in their confirmation hearings. Then he stopped the removal of Trump after the January 6th insurrection when he could have whipped up his party to vote to impeach him, preventing the orange turd from ever holding office again. Coward! Power hungry racist himself with an axe to grind and now everyone else gets to suffer from it. I’m absolutely sick and tired of them all and I think the entire regime administration needs to be arrested and hauled off to prison and plastic idiot man Elon Musk deported!

Robert F. Kennedy is advocating for:
- Raw milk consumption: raw milk can contain e.coli bacterias. They can induce infections that can be difficult to treat and in some cases lethal. Drink raw milk from your farmer neighbor if you wish so (I grew up in the countryside and none of us did that - we always boiled the milk for safety reason before drinking it) but promoting the commercialization of raw milk on a large scale is madness especially as there is a current outbreak of HSN1 and there is no method to detect it in the milk.
- Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin: no mega studies have shown those treatment to be effective against Covid-19. In fact for someone advocating for stricter controls on drugs, he contradicted himself by pushing those treatment at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

He is also spreading many conspiracies, and openly supported leading opponents to vaccination in Samoa during a trip in 2019 - few months later there was a measle outbreak, leading to the death of 83 people. Kennedy and his children might be vaccinated but he has no issue to support anti-vax movements. He won't hesitate to use lies - for instance in 2022, the anti-vax group he led co-published a book accusing the covid-19 vaccine to be behind the sudden death of young and healthy people: a 12-years-old child was featured on the cover book against the will of his parents and never got vaccinated against covid-19.

The food and drug industries certainly need more regulations, stronger punishments (the case of over prescription of OxyContin is a good exemple of crime not being punished), more incentives to help people to be healthy instead of making them dependent on unhealthy food and drugs. I am sure there are better qualified people with a strong sense of ethics that could do that job way better than Kennedy that repeatedly showed that his ideological views are overpassing safety and a scientific approach on food and drugs.
Well where are all these people that are so ethical and qualified then? Where have they been for the last few decades? They don’t exist because nobody wants the job - or they’re too in hock to the corporates to do it. It takes someone with great courage and passion to take on the FDA, NIH, CDC, pharma and the rest of them. It is a massive undertaking, almost doomed to failure, and there is going to be extraordinary pressure and pushback on him from the most powerful industries in the world.

So he’s taking on a hell of a job. Believe me the last thing he’s going to be doing is forcing you or anyone else to drink raw milk.

His overall concern - which is clear when you listen to his long form interviews instead of picking out individual talking points from the MSM - is to get corruption out of the agencies, improve food quality, reduce the grip of the pharmaceutical industry, find alternative ways to keep Americans well and push for transparency of data in all these areas.

I’m struggling to see why any of this is a bad thing or why he’s the wrong person to do it in the absence of anyone else. It’s a topsy turvy world indeed when Democrats and those on the left are intent on attacking someone who’s at least attempting to take on corporate and governmental corruption.

There are Trump supporters who believe and eat up whatever he says. Like how his missing ear grew back last summer. 🧐
Well bearing in mind you’re talking about the kind of people who taped sanitary towels to their ears in solidarity with the orange imbecile that’s not surprising.

When people think what's right is what's being criticized by the "other side" they've lost any ounce of independent thinking. Also many Republicans are not especially excited by all Trump's picks. I guess that's why Trump demanded that the future Republican majority leader of the Senate agrees on recess appointments of Trump's picks. He knows the Senate might be resistant to many of his picks and that his majority at the Senate is probably not enough to nominate the people he chose.

In many cases the issues are that Trump's picks are loyalists who don't have the experience required to oversee such critical departments, which would make them less able to advise Trump and would facilitate some of his decisions without proper scrutinity. It's funny that many people were criticizing Harris for being underqualified to become president but now are happy to whoever Trump would chose to run the government, without asking any questions.

(As for Harris, not choosing her as a president can be absolutely understood based on one's political opinions but I don't know how someone who rose to the position of Attorney general of California, was a senator and VP was lacking of professional or political experience. She might be a bad candidate for many reasons but certainly not because of her career).

Good god.
I’ve just seen some of Trump’s appointments. It’s beyond scraping the barrel, it’s more like scrabbling around in a cess pit.
I mean Matt Gaetz ( who’s been accused of sex trafficking, paying for sex - which I guess means he has something in common with Trump, sexual misconduct and drug use ) is going to be the Attorney General.
He’s going to put Marjorie Taylor Greene in charge of Education isn’t he?

I’m willing to bet that he doesn’t apply the same logic to god.

And also, if the handwashing thing is true, that’s just gross 🤮
It's staggering the amount of adults that don't wash their hands unless they are visibly dirty even after using the toilet etc 🤢

The guy who asked Zelensky "why don't you wear a suit" was Marjorie Taylor-Greene's boyfriend, a maga nut, only there because Trump banned AssociatedPress from White House meetings.

It just seems strange, as though no one has told him they already won.

Found this other clip, seems he's already looking at 2028 -

Fuck me, they are already working to overthrow the two terms for a president.

They will try their power over the constitutional right to birth citizenship, then this. Trump will be 82 in 2028! If the disgusting bloated mess lasts that long that is.

I’m not much of a fan of Macron, but this was superb. The face on the orange twat when someone actually points out he’s talking bollocks.

Someone explaining something quite complex in their second language and still comes across as more intelligent than the tangerine tyrant.

This isn’t about the Country, or the public at large, it’s about him. This is why the shares in companies owned by Musk, have rocketed since the election.
Completely agree. Some of the most vocal critics of Trump 2.0 have admitted that their own financial portfolios are looking better than ever since Trump won the election. But they care more about the future of the US than making more and more money. Unlike Musk.
---
And he is angry about his children, their genders, and disowning of him .. so he’ll be looking to limit heaith services, education etc
Apparently he has 12 children by three different mothers. Bojo, Trump, Musk. These narcs are all cut from the same cloth, eh?

I have to say it’s a relief to see Gary Gensler resign. Trump promised to fire him on his first day and that stance alone won him votes.

It’s funny to see the left still desperately clinging to the idea that racist ignorant bumpkins vote for Trump. They’re so wrapped up in their white saviour / superiority complex. The shift towards Trump by different races and ethnic groups confused them at first but they soon put it down to them being ignorant, uneducated or somehow inferior like they always do. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s ironic that they don’t realise how very racist and prejudiced they are. They only see it everywhere else. 🤔
I’m a liberal Democrat and I am genuinely wondering what facts you have to back this up? The Democrats nominated and elected Barack Obama twice, the first black American President. Elon Musk bought the presidency for Trump this time by spending 130 million dollars, using Twitter and ads to pit different ethnic groups against one another so he can essentially be President. The left is all about democracy believing that we are all created equal, and by supporting the poor and marginalized. However, it is true that the left is proven to have higher education and intelligence than the right who tend to believe whatever bullshit Trump throws out at them. Republicans are all about providing tax cuts for the wealthiest 1% of our country, looking down on the middle class working man, people of color, or anyone who looks or believes differently than them.

I perfectly get that Americans are not invested about Eastern Europe's faith. But from my point of view we either stop Russia now or we just delay the unavoidable. Russia is not some kind of benevolent nation just wanting to have its buddies back. The cold war era has been an awful period for all the people living in Eastern Europe. I think a lot of Westerners don't understand what Eastern european people went through during that time. Countries like Poland might consider to get their own nukes if they see they can't count on the West. Countries like the Baltics would chose guerilla over submission to Russia. They have all fought over 150 years to be their own nations and escape russian imperialism. They won't accept to be again pawns that can be traded away.

Some sort of arrangement where Trump give some sort of "influence sphere" to Putin would be as ridiculous as were the Abraham agreements where the question of Palestinians was just taken out of the equation. It led to the boiling pot that the middle east is currently. Again I get that Americans don't care about the consequences of things happening far away but that attitude didn't prevent WWI or WWII and as a European I have no will to see Europe burning to the ground one more time.
Thank you, you’ve expressed my feeling about it far better than I could. Trump is particularly isolationist. Invading another country is never excusable and Russia has committed unspeakable atrocities like bombing maternity hospitals. I do agree it has to be stopped, otherwise Putin will be emboldened to carry on. There are taped audios of Russian soldiers gloating on the phone to their family about the terrible things they are doing.

The reason Tony Blair is still so disliked to this day, and nobody remembers him for any of the good things he did is because he supported an illegal invasion that was not backed by the UN. People in the UK were disgusted about it then and still are today (rightly so). Once a war is started, it blunders on and on for many, many years. The destruction is unimaginable. It is never excusable.

Well folks only two weeks into Trumpy’s dictatorship presidency and the US is going to hell in a hand basket. When I have the opportunity I will list all the reasons why. It will probably take a good bit of time. 🙄
I think I may be able to help. And it will hardly take any time at all.
The American electorate ( with some considerable help from a ketamine addled, megalomaniacal billionaire) chose to vote for a deranged, racist, bitter, spiteful, convicted sex offender, who is doing exactly what people said he would.
